No kidding, 8 grand isnt going to go very far, altho if they would have worked 10-12 hours days or more then 8 or whatever they did, they might have done better!

That was Dorsey's agreement with Todd last year (and he did say that it was Todd who was paying him),before the show ever aired.

I'm sure that with the show being a hit, the price went up.

hey bro.... from experience....the old tailings north of the como metropolis are worked.

i used to go out there almost every weekend w/ my homemade sluice and shovel.....it didn't matter if i got anything, i was gettin' away w/ my dog, and never expected to find any color there.....and never did. we weren't very legal anyway because we were always on nat. forest property, and never had a permit.

i worked w/ a dude that holds a mining lease outside fairplay, he makes some legit scratch, and only works it as a hobby.... a legal lease in that area is prolly the best bet.

i did the same story around breck as i did around como.

....hey also consider york gulch area (towards st. mary's glacier) between idiot spgs and dumont.....a current employee of mine lives on york gulch on an old claim....she's never looked for gold there, but all the property in that area are old mining leases (u should see the property lines)...she'd let ya dig all day around there.

He said he was, thats where that came from...Jack meHoffman had some back procedure to help with the pain and he said hes off the pills.

Harness wont be back it looks like...he didnt seem to have to drive the other guys did...spent alot of time with his girlfreind. Not a good idea.

They made, maybe, two references to Porcupine, but only in relation to the Hoffmans running it.. I think Fred got black balled... Wonder if this is an indication that the Hoffmans might end up in Porcupine Creek again next year? Well, I seriously doubt it, but it's a fun idea to play with....

I never said Harness didnt have a back prob..that last episode talked about Jacks back problems and his addiction to morphine and he was alone with the gold weighting it up. It showed Jack getting some work done on his back to relieve the pain. Harness has deff had back trouble, but that seemed to happen last season not this one so much.
