The bleuberries I´m growing are white label, strange they both would call em the same thing. Alltough maybe nothings strange in the seedbusiness today lol!

Out of the afghan I got 1male which i put outdoors n tried to collect pollen.. with zip bag placed over the pods.. but it collects water.. any ideas of other pollen collecting methods?..paper bag maybe..

You're on the right track, just gotta upgrade.
JLP, one of the most generous and talented grower/breeders around has a method for blooming and collecting pollen right in the same flower room without pollinating the ladies. You may find it on here with the search function, has pics and all...

Basically you buy a large, clear tupperware container, with a top to seal it. (The taller than wider kind.)

Then you buy a computer fan and a filter and make a hole in the container and attach the fan blowing air out of the tupperware.

Voila, a sealed greenhouse for the ,males to flower to their hearts content and you will harvest it like kief, there is so much pollen, just remember to open it outside the room and wipe it down when you bring it back.

Go for it!

Hey Girl,

What's up with that wine? I've done wine on a few occasions, and I'll tell you homebrew can be pretty good. If you want to avoid spoilage organisms -n- keep your yeast happy, get a Specific Gravity Meter ~8$ so you can see how much sugar they need, and also, pick up some Campden tablets (sodium metabisulfite) and toss in 1-2 per gallon. The risk of spoilage increases when the yeast stops fermenting actively. At this time, you can siphon off the brew into a long-term container (gallon jugs work well) and stopper them up for a few months. The result is pretty impressive! ;)

hey up rebel.. yar i hear ya on the specific gravity thing.. altho I just add me sugar.. is siphoned off into gallon jar now too ;) ..bubbling away quite nicely - I have found if I sterilise everything with solution in the beginning there is no need to add extra campden to your solution. ;)

Final update on the afghan... got 4 but 3 havent filled out - I would suspect they arent the same plant but they do smell the same so...

I am really pleased with this one tho...@ 58 days.. just chopped...canopy issues were funny as...canes are 4ft to support her.. and can see in the background one of the "weedy" ones.. to compare...

Have got a cut.. taken late .. so has bud on it.. of this afghan so hopin i got her again...

Big thanks for the seeds.. its been fun to grow the afghan and even with only the one (3 may end up in butter).. she looks and smells like she is gonna give some pleasure :)

keep it green....
