hehe Bly, I thought the top one was great until I saw the thrid one, couldn't help but try to stroke the leaf that came out of the screen. I thought looking at your gallery there must be lots that you hadn't posted, but I guess you just have a higher post per post count than me. Looking forward to your next upload, have you ever gone walk about out side doing the 3d thing? If you live somewhere unrecognisable, or go on a trip anywhere, I'd also love to see you outdoor 3d shots.

Day 56&63 had me reaching out again Bly, I'm always impressed when a pic makes me reach out to touch it. I put my finger where the leaf should reach, then take the glasses off to see how far out the pic managed to reach. Frosty solid nugs there too. SC is SS's isn't it? That'll be a nice show too. Well I'll get some up at the end of the week, start pulling my weight in here for a change, sorry I've left it to you to carry the thread for a while. Mine are starting to get to a point it's worth putting some pics up, they have been seedlings for too long. That Blue back ground seemed to work well, I haven't got a background for mine, I'm gonna have to pick up a can of paint at some point.

The blue background is just a piece of posterboard that you get at an office supply store, craft store, etc. Costs about a buck and works great for pics up to about 2 feet tall.

OOOO you're giving them a go, cool. I had someone else start some this week too, they reported the same thing, then a couple of days later I got another message saying 41 out of 50 popped, so since some of them are from old generations, I think they just take a bit longer to sprout, also the tri versions always tend to take a bit of extra time on top of that, so I just throw them straight into soil and wait them out. Some tend to pop as the first are a few weeks in too 
Can't remember how many you got, if you dont get many to pop, you can always get more Though I'm about 9 weeks from the next generation, so maybe they would be better, can't beat fresh seeds.

Hi Asiatica, I'm sure I speak for Bly too when I say, glad you like the idea. We feel it adds a certain something to a pic when you can see the depth too.
Hey Bly, here we go, I took some this morning, finally, and I resized them before uploading, so here's hoping they work.
[edit] I'm still having problems, I think that I need to start resizing them much smaller than I am, 1200 seems too big which is wierd as pre upload they look good then once they hit the site they look quite bad, I think it may be the file size rather than the pic size, the site alters the files to bring the quality down to silly kb rather than the multiple mb I upload at, it doesnt seem to affect 2d pics so much but the colour contrasts on 3d really matters. I used to have an unlimited size, I miss those days. Next upload I'll reduce them to smaller pics, and hopefully the file sizes will be much smaller that way and wont get so chewed up going through the system.[/edit]

I put 10 more seeds into soil last night, 6 of them had tails.
I had started some other seeds recently and a took a look at them this morning and noticed something interesting on one of them.

Someone else popping mine got 41 out of 50 to pop, same generations as yours, but he reported a week on some of them, though he only got 1 tri out of the bunch, so odds are in your favour. I'm still not happy with the uploaded pics of mine, like I said, I'll resize them much smaller in future. I nicked your idea of the blue background, but all the effort is wasted when they get broken down to the extent the server does here.
