Gizmo's 12/12 from seed

Awesome grow man. Inspirational! Quick newb question - seems like you had varying heights on the plants and I was wondering why not raise up the smaller ones closer to the light? I'm guessing the benefits are minimal, if at all, considering the the lower branches looked pretty filled out on the taller plants so maybe that fancy light you have has excellent penetration throughout the whole tent.

Good work - now I want to spend more time tending to mine.

Going 12/12 from seed I think the benefits would have been minimal
But
I think it would have been more of a pain trying to level them out
This is my first grow with this light and tbh it's better than my 400w hps performance is way better

Cool cool, up until now I didn't even know you could go 12/12 from seed. Seems like it worked out well and I'm guessing the benefit is quicker seed to harvest time and lower canopy for those that have height constraints.

Not so much on the lower height as I have one plant went for the sky
As for harvest time being quicker maybe by a couple of weeks but you pay on yield
Better with autos in that case

Day 70
jeez has it been 10 weeks already since i popped these seeds not knowing what to expect
its been a good learning experience this run built up my confidence a bit
helped with my deperession and gave me a small escape from the realities of life
i dont think they'll run much longer hopefully another week the white widow maybe longer
i'm still looking for advise on which soil to get(see last post)
i've got to say the ionic nutrients are excellent but potent the plants love small doses
going forward i'm going to remove the ballast from the light and put it outside the tent next grow
just trying to drop temps this grow has averaged 28°c - 31°c depending on how warm the house was
so i think moving the ballast out will make a good difference

I'm already smoking the other widow as usual it's a great smoke earthy piney diesel

day 72
havested the freezeberry x sour bubble tonight
got to say i was impressed. under the new light the buds are definatly better developed than i've grew before
the fce 3000 performs excellent without doubt worth the money
the smaller of the two freezeberrys gave 130g the larger 145g so 275g total
going by the usual 75% loss i reckon i should get around 70-75g dry
for going 12/12 from seed i think thats not to bad

white widow1 124g harvested 30.5g in the tub
freezeberry x sour bubble 275g harvested 61g in the tub
Lsd25 x Sour bubble 285g still hanging expected 70g in the tub
white widow 2 175g still hanging expected 45g in the tub
Sour Grape x Sour bubble 142g still hanging expected 35g in the tub

smoke report on white widow1(nearly all gone lol)
piney flavour with a diesel kick
its a good go to work smoke (not too close to anyone as it stinks the place up)not to heavy hitting but enough to give that mellow feeling
(my son in law says its "banging" haha)

its been a good adventure and more strains added to my grown list
i'm gonna post that up on my next diary(only so i can remember it lols)

so whats next?
new pots new soil monster seeds and i hope monster plants
