Why should cannabis be legalized?

Cuz we like it... that's why.
It's good and it's good for you.

The End.

Post it up on here obviously shiiieet. Even if you have to post it in multiple posts, that doesn't matter. I see no valid reason to PM it to someone, it needs to be made public.

My initial thought when i read OP was either troll or Feds itt.. But i am a cynical bastard.

Please prove me wrong OP

alright im not posting all paper just first few main points:

Major points in favour of legalisation of entheogens:

Recall the statistics for annual death rate:

Tobacco : 435,000

Alcohol : 85,000

Prescription Drugs : 32,000

Suicide: 30,622

Sexual Fetishes : 20,000

All illegal drug use (excluding marijuana) : 17,000

Aspirin : 7,600

Marijuana : 0

By making entheogens legal you remove power from the hands of organised crime who deal underground and are for most part responsible for negativity associated with entheogens. Quality control will be implemented reducing negative experiences with drugs dramatically. Crime will be down. Binge drinking will be down. Cigarette smokers will quit in favour of weed…

By making it legal and applying proper taxation you can wipe out billions of pounds from national debt. And I really do mean BILLIONS.

Once you get the ball rolling, profits can be used to solve other problems like world hunger problem in Africa for one.

By pass the dogma and old age thinking. Drugs can be good, if used with care. I like to call them “Power Tools”. As a simple way to put it, certain substances are like POWER TOOLS. They are:

1. Very powerful.

2. Dangerous in wrong hands

3. Can accomplish great tasks with ease.

Do not play with POWER TOOLS.

It should be down to individual to decide what he or she chooses to put in to his/her body.

Masses will have a “tool” at their hands to pursue enlightenment and unlock hidden aspects of the mind, question authority and what is going on in this world (number 1 reason drugs are illegal btw) and discover multidimensional aspects of the universe.

Medical aspects are massive, too few studies are run at the moment, there can be much much more. Most if not all entheogens carry a medical aspects. For instance cannabis can be used to aid depression, cannabis oil can be used to treat skin cancer. MDMA can treat a whole array of misalignments such as post traumatic stress disorder.

// to do - more healing to be added

All drug dispensing should be done by a licensed organisation with exclusive rights for manufacture and sale of entheogens. Sales should be restricted with a licensing scheme similar to driving licence where a person applies for a license say to purchase cannabis and mushrooms. Individual must then STUDY entheogen CODE and pass a exam on responsible use of chosen substance. He or she can then legally buy said substance from a registered vendor using licensing card.

By pushing knowledge and educating to those in power we can get this done, if we employ logic, reason, science and spirituality, this fight can be won. Weed is not evil it is God sent.

You always hear about how marijuana leads to harder drugs which in many cases is true, but not for the reasons they say.The way it can lead to harder drugs is because it has become all entangled and fucked up with drugs that are harmful.I'm sure a lot of people including myself bought their first powder from the person they get their erb from.Remove it from the fucked up context its in and see if ingesting a plant can really lead to someone shooting dope

here are 2 points to consider:

2/3 of reported college date rapes listed alcohol
as a contributing or aggravating factor involved.

3/4 of domestic abuse reports also listed alcohol
as a contributing or aggravating factor involved.
