I don't remember the brand of the sample we got. It's what we were talking about a couple of weeks ago that compares to v&b.
I filled a 55gallon rez, set ph at 5.6. 3 days later the ph raised to 6.1 so I dropped it back down. 2 days later and it's 5.9
Don't think I'm gonna waist my money on it. Too much trouble without auto ph adjustment.

I have colas larger then a 20 liter coke bottle... I'm just done experimenting... can't afford to... the V+B just works and is so simple... Listen go with what you know unless you have a tester tray... yeah its expencive but... This ain't a cheep hobby...

why in the fuck would someone want to talk politics... on a weed sight... I was about to jump ship... but the mag is looking better this morning...
I started out using GH 3 part in Lucas formula (micro and bloom only) but recently decided to try straight Maxi bloom dry. I've had faster bud set, larger buds and less deficiency issues. I can't get V+B locally so Maxi bloom is much cheaper for me. Shipping fees suck.
I've also heard some of the V+B people are switching to Maxi bloom, though not sure how accurate that may be.
Latest grow of Super Silver Haze at 25 days nothing but Maxi bloom and some liquid kool bloom.

some people are switching to maxi grow for veg , when feeding light with the V&B you get defs . i was having the same problem & tried a few additives to try & help with it . but i found if you feed heavier in veg than your used to 90% of the problems go away . i still use some vitamins & amino acids in veg , but sense going up considerably on the veg doses , my veg has never been better !!!
im guessing you mean a 20 oz soda bottle, not 20 liters!
thats why they dont allow it here,it just turns into a stupid penis waving contest...polotics should only be spoken about when theres good whiskey nearby...
RR those look perfectly healthy... no denying that... I used maxi in veg for a long time... I would set the ph at 6.2 and it would always drop really quickly... the V+B is dead stable in my RO with my water supply

You that exactly what I mean... and peins waving contest suck... no way I can have a chance at winning one of those...
Wow I haven't seen any issues like this. I have to adjust ph about every 2-3 days but I have to adjust it down not up. I'm running recirculating though not DTW like you and Dan. Other than the explosive growth I have seen no difference in the way ph fluctuates from Lucas formula.
I set ph at 5.7-5.8 let it go up to 6.1 then adjust back down.
It must be something to do with the RO water because I have only had ph rise. I haven't bought a bottle of ph up since I quit using RO water. I kno w it's more difficult to change and maintain ph with RO water. The guy who owns the local hydroshop told me years ago, with coco all you need is a dechlorinator. We have good water here, like 90 ppms.

mine was too in the basement .... sense moving the grow to the garage , it drops like every other day . i've even tried advanced PH up & its made a little difference , but i still get the PH drop alot faster than i used to !
