So how exactly do you boys get the most bang for your buck with foliar spray's, any way to make them more effective? Getting serious with the sprays... I only have a week or so left before I stop spraying them

the only foliar i do is the push from HR ..... i spray once a week in veg & on my moms & i always see a kick in health the next day ! whats good about this stuff is don't have to turn my lights off while spraying . it doesn't burn the plants from being wet & it must have a wetting agent in it too because it spreads pretty evenly .

They help... Plants can uptake missing elements from the foliar.... You can do it up to 4times a week if you keep the leaves clean and don't clog up the poors on the underside of the leaves... Harly Smith says a good spray of carbonated water once a week is all you need to keep the leaves clean...

As the plants get adjusted to flowering I'm going to see about opening up some calcium Ion chanels... If I'm sucessful nutrient uptake should go off the charts...

I love the rain and snow

I love the rain. A good rain leaves the air nice and fresh smelling. I like snow but only when it is crunchy at like 10 degrees. I like the sound it makes when you have a couple inches to walk on. Like 2 or 3 inches and crunchy sounding. Not that light fluffy stuff. That is ok to watch when the wind is not blowing. Nice big fluffy flakes

because you need a college degree to use one...or rather you need a degree to understand the information and what to do about it...you dont need one...all you need is a good pH meter and an EC or ppm meter...and how to use them and maintain them...

I know.... But I'm just researching... High Brix and optimum plant health go hand and hand.... Thinking out loud mostly... Its really interesting stuff learning how plants grow...and what the elements do...

So what do y'all know about the Brix scale? And why have I never seen a Brix meter used in a grow room?

I picked one up from Amazon this summer, they are not expensive.

They are however, a complete pain in the ass to use - I ended up buying a press to try to extract enough moisture from a leaf to even take a reading.

Once I did, I got a surprisingly low reading in my organic soil. And the lack of specific info on how to make the level go up was both surprising and disappointing. I really think it works best with plants grown in the ground and not in containers.

Wanna play with it? Just let me know and I'll send it to you.
