I know.... You guys are right....l cant go... Were at the docks putting the boat back in the water.... We are sending 6 boats to the keys over night.... Not one of them is as well equipped as our boat... So I will provide as many supply as we can spare and ill watch 20 people I care for go into harms way.... I disconected our fleer camera and control module and put it in the lead boat... None of them has ever navigated blue water without me or M&M leading the way.... Everyone seamed shocked when I walked out on the fuel dock with the camera.... But that's all I can do... I'm a Mother and that's all that counts for now... I will teach and train my Daughter everything she needs to know about being an EFR emergency first responder, Emt medical rescue professional and water rescue spelicast... Untill then I have to keep it local and keep my little girl safe at home.... Gods Speed to the twenty brave souls headed south in the dark of night, in foul weather to help unknown people......

If you went and helped them is that not the same as staying and helping your daughter? No it is not the same. The people that need you are the selfish ones here. They were told for a week to seek shelter and ignored the warnings which puts others in danger to cover for their selfishness.

I don't pretend to know shit about the ocean or navigating it but going out in stormy weather doesent sound like such a good idea anyway, that little one done lost one important person in her life, god forbid something happened to you, I think that would be to much

Ill never put her through that.... Watching those boats roll out and seeing our boat tied to the dock wasn't easy but it's got to be that way....
I cant sleep.... worried about the boats heading for the aftermath of that storm, I just realised something.... I never worry about the people i drag off into dangerous waters.... Like the other night Spearfishing.... But i'm sure worried tonight.... And i shouldn't be those guys are great on the water.... Sitting here with my Little Dove snuggled up and passed out using my leg as a pillow is exactly where i should be.... I wouldn't be any good out there... I would be worried sick and i would be impatient worrying about Zoey... that's when you make mistakes and when lives are on the line you cant make those mistakes..... I noticed it the other night when we were spearing.... i was distracted... This isn't going to be easy.... Being a MOM.... But nothing has ever felt more right in my life.... And she's just like me.... God Help Her.... She wanted to go.... She wants so much to be a part of our world on the water.... She likes the way people listen to me and M&M when the talk turns to the water... I explained to her that it was RESPECT... And it takes a long time to earn that kind of respect Its also trust and faith.... we had a long talk about some of those big words that carry so much meaning... Before she passed out i was informed that she wants to OCEAN SCIENTIST.... aka MARINE BIOLOGIST..... So it looks like im warping her poor little mind already...... FML.....
