1st run was pulled @62 days... I will try the next run at 70 days. If I put Cookies next to BHOG or BKxGK the diferance is very noticeable to me. I can smell GSC but the aroma is so earthy hash like it does not jump out at me like the other strains do...Nothing I can do it's not like I dont smoke it all day maybe the 70 day will be better for me.

Different environments have diff effects on the herb. Bkgk is t loud at all for me, a bubba or def cheese would be much louder in my cab..

Try pullin gsc earlier.. He pulled her at 9.5-10 usually but this time I pulled her at 8.5wks and I think she smells better.

BHOG is even louder then BKGK..If I understood you in your cab the BKGK is not aromatic at all? The one I have smells wonderful lov it. Same with BHOG that one is a real good smelling plant. From veg to harvest she just keeps getting stronger in her aroma. I found her in 2 packs (20 seeds)...


Anyway it is what it is. If I find a way to improve the aroma I will let ya know..

Yes BHOG is fire She has a good profile so does the cut of BKxGK..I like very potent high Smelling strains..I have the GG going cant wait to test drive her

Im going to give the Cookies a special blend tonight.

I shoot for 16" from plant center for my 600 vert trees. I would definitely train her to a screen to pull her as far back as necessary.

im about 15" from the bulb. I have had plants closer then that in the past with no issues. Nothing directly under it. Floor space is at a premium. I have to use what I have available sometimes I will use the space under the bulb but I have to move the plant ASAP to a better location....

ya I had the BKGK clone.. she came out very pretty but the aroma was subtle compared to other strains, not loud imo. but ya try takin cookies a bit early.. most of the peeps i talk to prefer her earlier then later

The clone I have of BKGK is not subtle she is VERY LOUD . What I smell as fantastic could smell like dog shit to someone else.

hammerhead- smell is very fruity and spicy all at the same time.. out of control dankk aromas forsure! can smell her when i just walk by, dont even have to touch her. haha

I have had some strains come within 6" of a vert bulb with no burning, but for GSC, and her light sensitivity, I would tie her back as much as possible.

You guys should all keep in mind that forum cookies isn't a Blue Dream type of strain (amateur strain) that you can use any kind of medium/nutrients/enviro/etc and get predictable results. It takes finesse

beautiful picture adrfit, 5+ years ago alot of breeders were trying to make a good purple og kush, something with nice color and bag appeal that retained the kushy scent that patients loved...and i think GSC would be the closest representation to that goal, better than any of offerings from alien, carpediem and a few other folks who released related crosses, i know i bought a lot of packs of seeds trying to find the perfect purple kush myself (most were crosses of GDP, grape ape, urkle with various OG, master, alien) the other PK on the market were getting stale and just too bubba dominant and darker in color. GSC has that bright white frost and colors that just pop out...just a random thought on this dabbed out afternoon.
