I did not make that many.. This was kind of a test to see if the Pollen was still viable. I have single use packs in deep freeze. Looks like about 50 seeds
Just chopped a GSC that i feel i managed to achieve a happy medium between yield and frostyness.
I found that the smaller yield i get the more frosty the GSC is, i guess she concentrates more on thc production when the buds are smaller.
The larger yielding plants are no slouch when it comes to frostyness but nothing compared to the little tight nug tiny yield plants that look insane.
I will throw up some pics if i have time before i head to the Dam for 420....i wonder if anyone has entered GSC this year.
Peace
Shootin for big colas of pure frost this run!! Imo its all about height control. I kept pretty close to the distance i had hoped for/discussed and every plant is uniform across the board and stacking nicely. Hoping for some actual colas this run, had a few last run but only where height was controlled.
I noticed that as well.. All of the shorter plants have a bigger main cola. The larger taller plants have smaller colas but much more bud on the plant. No diferance in quality.. I would like to see a Lolipop run..
idk, hate to argue, but my 4 foot tall cookies plant has nice sized colas forsure, i cleaned up alot of the bull shit tho, only keeping the top 2 feet of plant... so you can def get big colas on big plants, just cut up all the bull shit...
not saying a shorter plant wouldnt have fat nugs, just saying you can still get um fat off a tall plant
you are the only person to do that. The rest of us have not found the spot they like to grow big Cola's on big plants... I have to go by what most including myself have seen.
Theres no arguing.. My plants are just like I described as are many others just like mine. As soon as we find out what you did and we can duplicate it that will change my Opinion but until then I stand by my comment. IM still hoping to find out your secret lol...
My plants are 6' .. Do you have any plants that are 6' with large cola's??...I have a 4' cookie she has larger main cola then the 6' plants do.
Here Are my mini me nugs lol...It doesnt really bother me because there so dam good..Im sure with ea run I do I will improve my Yields. The size of the bud is not important unless it's all larf witch I can say they are not.

No, I'm saying it has nothing to do with actual plant size- it has all to do with how far away from the light they are.
I flipped 2.5' bushes, and also had 3-4' bushes that had to be scrogged. I made sure they were all the distance i thought they should be according to my first cookie grow and there is a uniform canopy of colas/tops at under 4wks.
Heres a few pix from my first run, most were too close to the light- first pic is of a thinner cola that was too close, 2nd and 3rd are tops that had a bit more distance/shade. Anything too close was either thin, or small as top bud. You can see the difference in swell. And im def seeing it this run too.
There are some 60+ day vegged Cookies coming. Not mine im still vegging lol..Im pretty sure these will be very tall plants. I think I get 2x+ stretch on a 60 day veg..
IMO the larger the plant the closer to the light she will be.. If I have a 6' plant the 4' plant is going to be farther away from the light thats what im sayin. At some point you cant keep raising the light.. A good test would be to have a 6' plant LST her then see if the 4' plant yields the same as the 6'.
The results im getting are the closer the plant is to the light the samller the main cola will be. This is what I got with my first run.. My next run I will not have them as close as the first run was. These are in flower now..
my current run im doing a 70+ day veg in 3gallons that were transplanted very late, have some right under the light and some in the far back to see how this light theory works out
umm Not necessarily, its all about training to keep the distance from the light regardless of plant height. I scrogged the trees (sure you could LST, but that starts way earlier in life) and flipped the bushes as normal. Trained correctly, they both have even canopies. The difference between the two plants will completely be based on how well you train them IMO.
But ya i got same results as you and adjusted for sure this run.
Only downside (not sure if its a downside yet) is that with proper height from light, and not too close I won't have as many intermediate BIG ass nugs like last run. I basically depending on all tops this time. last run the entire plant was smokable, this run i had to clear out the bottoms.
Thats a diferant style of growing then what I do. You still got the same reults as I did. So your next run you would raise the light and see what happens.
cant raise lights here, just topped some heavier and scrogged the ones too big at flip. With appropriate height from light they look identical. Hopin for some good weight this run, last run was no slouch either. I swear cookies has potential! ha.
How much stretch are you getting on those 70 day..I usually prune allot of leaves in the center of the plant when I flower. I dont think it matters much with cookies. Buds that are low with crappy light are just as big and frosty as the buds up top..
