lol @ the GSC haters ... i know marijuana (even if im on the East Coast) because i've been smoking it and growing it a lot longer then the MAJORITY of members here on ICMAG...there is nothing wrong with the original Thin Mints & it's a very interesting plant and different kind of plant to grow and has excellent potency & flavor with FAT calyx up and down the plant's bud-sights ...i don't hype & if it's good, it's good ...peeps obviously dont like that it's gotten so much attention over the years, but it's for a reason not hype...i would recommend anyone at least try it out (the original GSC) ...peeps think it yields low...what it does is that it yields small flowers, but LOT's of them if you grow the plant big(dense nugs fat assed calyx's) ...if i post a pic in the future , then i dont want my ass jumped on because of it ...that's rude

try to remove yourself from the situation..just bc you have a lot invested in this , doesnt mean we cant discuss the fact that the cookie hype is real. The weed is good yes, but the hype train machine behind it is some whack ass rapper and his jackass friends, pull your fukin pants up dawg!

If this is a cookies thread, why cant people post pics of cookies and discuss it without all the hating?! Who gives 2 senior citizen diaper shits if it was a bagseed, s1, f1, etc..Bottom line is that cookies is getting smoked, grown, etc all over the world and people are loving it! LMAO, why are you getting all but hurt when anyone has a different opinion then yours. That's just a immature comment. Forum or thin mint aren't anything special IMO. There are some useful traits for breeding projects. I see No bitching in here until you made that comment.. We all have out own way of determining what a keeper is. For me GSC isn't one. After 40 years it takes allot to impress. Hay if anyone likes GSC that's your thing it just ain't mine. I will give that opinion whenever I fell like it. If y'all cant have a adult convo about GSC hit the road jack

Let me know it you feel the same in 5 years. I can guarantee you haven't been growing /smoking longer than me. Everyone needs to Keep looking for those plants that will replace cuts like GSC. Nothing stays here very long. I have new gear running all the time. When I find cuts better than whats on my keeper list those cuts are culled. Its always a progression to finding better.

Variation is key like anything in life right? If you do the same amazing thing in bed everytime it gets old, you got to switch up several different things and it keeps it fresh. Weed is the same, you want variety and new things that have a different taste and high no?

I myself would rather have 10-20 different strains in jars and in my veg room backed up, versus just one killer cut all day everyday monocrop.

Absolutely it's that easy. I don't see what confused you about my post. I have a good variety I can pick from. I posted nothing about running 1 strain?. Your post exactly what I'm talking about. I run a wide variety in every run so there's something for everyone. I don't mono crop. I could if someone wanted a full harvest of a single strain.



I have space to keep 10-15 different keepers. All are picked for traits I like. When new testers are evaluated against the keepers I have something might get culled. Rotating out old keepers Allows me to keep hunting for those truly special plants. You cant keep looking if there's no space to do that. Every seed plants takes up space. Nothing gets replaced until something is found. Sometimes it can take awhile. Sometimes it doesn't. If I didn't rotate even with 15 different strains it would get old. I def have some I like allot. It would be extremely hard to find anything that would replace these.



Most people don't have unlimited space to keep every plant they like. I keep what my space allows. Sometimes hard choices must be made.

I let Forum and Thin Mint go. Too many other plants to try. I have a Forum S1 that I'm told is better than Forum. Time will tell. It is hard to kill off clone only's. But you can't keep them all(I mean you can, but we all don't have that kind of room). Can't find new killer plants if your growing the same clone run after run.

I even reversed to a few other nice ones I found in my pack from Ethos. If I find a nice male F13 or two when I start running them I might even hit it with that.

GSC is this generations NL and has resulted in spectacular terpene profiles in hybrids.
My sour dookie was phenomenal and I wasn’t able to get enough pollen to dos proper run to find the donkey dick archetype from the sour diesel genetics
What I do find were lime green nuggets harder than any other buds I’ve ever seen or smoked

Looks cookie-ish to me. One thing I have noticed about GSC. The bagseeds almost always put out cookie looking plants. Almost seems the pollen donor(hermie or male) doesn't dominate the resulting hybrid as much as it does in other vars.

Thanks DoubleTripleOG. I'm hoping she's something worthwhile. I've got a couple clones of her but I need to make room in my garden soon. We'll see how she smokes and decide whether to keep her around a bit longer.
