What's the general consensus on which is the original cut??? or is the original still locked down and we all have bag seeds?
what ever happened to New Wave?
the Thin Mint I got through IC circles has a very different terpene profile and effects than the forum cut.
the flavor is more chocolate mint than the Forum to me but the high isn't as good.

for my head I much prefer the Forum cut but I smoke one of the Thin Mints most nights too.
for me the effects from the Forum are exactly what I'm looking for along with taste and aroma.

I just wasnt sure. I read that thin mint was closer to original but idk. Ive got forum already and just recieved thin mint, stink panties and 2.0 but the only cuts im thinking might survive are the 2.0
The new big thing in the bay is Gorilla Scouts.....it's a forum cut x gg4 x wifi...it's on the come up dunno if the creator is from icmag but doesnt look like he has any other work besides that so dunno if it's an accident cross that's got the name and cookie look to get it hyped up or if it's actually super fire....ima try to get some

Thanks for this comparison, this answers my questions about the 2 GSC clones I recently grew/pollinated. The first must have been the Forum, the second Thin Mints. I like the forum better as well.
Cut down seeded flower of the Thin Mints, tasted it 40 min ago. Chocolate/Mint for sure.
I have a second gen Forum cross Female I will test soon. As well, now I know to look the Forum up at the clinic where I got it. Wishing I had made a clone. Is nearly perfect flavor and effect for my taste as well!

Scratch what I said, I still don't know what cut I used to make my cross. My new seeds are likely this Thin Mints one, though.
I thought I grew 2 different cuts 3 weeks apart, recently cause of taste. However, I had purchased those 2 at the same dispense, same tray.
Why did the first taste so much better? Wish growers of multiple cuts of the Thin Mints would try an experiment for me. Grow one at an extreme angle of light, kinda on the outside of the main garden area, with less light. (The one that tasted way better). Then, grow the other directly under the light. Perhaps this is a cut that can have different pheno's expressed by this environment factor?
Maybe I still haven't tried the Forum...
