Thank you! But apparently my buds are way early and not stacked enough. I guess if I would have waited a couple more days they'd be completely black and purple, and stacked like Lou Ferrigno.

That's one of the best Forum Cut plants that I have seen on this site. I was a member under a different handle when miscbrah3284 started this thread. Sure the buds aren't dark purple, and the leaves aren't black. But God damn the plant looks awesome. Looks like it yielded really well, and the buds are Fat. I might be wrong, but I didn't think the Forum Cut was known for stacking really long cola's.

As for picking it early, I have harvested at 8 weeks, purple forum buds ,with plants that had black leaves. Plants/Cuts perform differently in everyone's set-up's. Just cause the leaves aren't black, and buds aren't purple doesn't mean it was took "early". In fact if you look at the first page of this thread, you'll see that miscbrah3284 had some dried shots of 60 day buds.

My question still wasn't answered.did you start counting from when you flipped thelights or when you stRted flowering? There is roughly a 2 week difference between the two for gsc.

As far as temperature, I've had extremely purple buds on my gsc in 100° heat. Sure there are other variables, but when it comes down to it the possibilities that your forum cut looks like that are extremely rare. I've never seen a forum look like that at 9 weeks. No one is questioning how good the plant looks.

The plant is pretty and stacked but she doesn't have her color and usually that also translates into the resin since you want to really mature the resin, not the bracts. I think the pull was early, she purples up in any temperature, its her genetic trait lol, you can't say thats attributed to heat... we would never have purple genetics lol.

I just brought up what I said because that plant doesn't look flushed and well ima say something cause this is medicine we are growing.

I pulled forum in 56 days... not fully black but purped out fer sure. ill post pics once shes done drying.

You can see the beginning of senescence on the fan leaves, just so slightly with the purple tint coming thru on the edges and I bet you would of got some pretty serious purple yielding dank with another week or 2.

Patience - and cleanliness - game changers.

Just because you have a plant in flower does not gaurantee that she will be finished according to the known flowering time. If you stress it out enough, you may have to run it for another week or so. A 30 x scope is your best bet.

Mate everyone counts flower time from the moment you flip to 12/12.. who the hell counts from when first seeing flowers?

A lot of people. Having your plant under 12/12 does not mean it's flowering. She's flowering when she's flowering. Generally I don't ever count at all. I go by gland maturity.

Technically my soil could be water only, but I never do just that. Fpe, tea, foliars, topdressings, etc. So to answer your question, yes it's wAter only soil so no counting days until the flush or fade. :dance013:

for most of us, its standard to talk about indoor flower times from the day we flip. considering we all already know that there are other factors that can influence these times, ita good baseline standard from which to speak. if all things are close to ideal, general times will be similar in a lot of rooms. if they are not in your situation, you likely already know that, and can add or subtract flowering times per your own experience.

the only time i see it as a problem to stray from this standard is when seed companies pull this without indicating it. they knowingly deviate from the normal way almost everyone counts flowering times and it just so happens that it makes their flowering times seem amazingly short. thats sleazy. arminus and a lot of other legit gardeners on here speak like this and its obviously not sleazy, its just that they are quirky nerds, like einstein or newton.

stoney girl farms comes to mind. sleaze bags

random growers who do this because its what makes sense to them are doing what seems natural to them. its only confusing when folks dont understand the different standard of speaking about it.

This definitely IS a sweet forum cut, if I can offer my .02
I grew this one out 3 or 4 times a couple years back. Those bastards are so dense you gotta be extra careful to get the inside of the buds dried out all the freaking way before cure. I had some that I thought were done, but ended up developing a slight bit of mold.

BTW, I let it go when I moved from CA. Anyone on this forum near Portland? Would love to swap niñas with you soon. Msg me?

Cheers // JR

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what cut of cookies this may be? It has a doughy nutmeg smell with a light mint finish. Its a cut floating around the PNW. Definetly more on the narcotic side as far as effect goes. @ Juicy Rooster. Talking about trades in the open forum is against the rules. Get 50 posts then you can PM. The flowering pic is a window sill light dep.
