Got some cookies a few days ago.. Kinda overrated to me, but I didn't grow it myself(about to flower some SinMints) and it's one pheno out of a million… So not passing full judgement.. Just speaking on this ~1/4. I also had some cookies about two years ago that seemed legit and was a lot better smoke, amazing actually.
Got this and a 1/4 of some other shit he knew nothing about except it's called "purp".. But this purp isn't purple at all, smells fruity as shit, tastes EXACTLY the same, just strong fruity!(in a blunt too), and most importantly the high blows the GSC outta the water. Super up, happy, talky, and everything is funny and like wow… Brain churning weed.. Just great. Wish I knew more about this strain…
The cookies smell EXACTLY like a strong ass Andes weed mint! A potent smell for sure, little louder than the purp but hardly(loud is loud)... The taste is kinda weak and leaves a little to be desired compared to a lot of other strains I've had and have^… The high, like a lot of weed I buy, is just kinda mind numbing and blah.. Been a while since I've bought something that make me feel as happy and anxious to smoke as this "purp" I don't know shit about.
Anyway, sorry for the babbling. Here's what's left of the cookies.

I have found out that with most strains if it's not cured properly long and slow. The finished product usually turns out how you described it you taste it the first couple hits then it vanishes. My last run of lime cookies my one pheno I fucked the cure up on and it took a big hit on smell and that awesome minty taste that you usually taste all the way till the end of a joint.

Looks kinda like they fucked up the cure or something. Kinda looks like that bud in the middle of the picture got squished to shit.

Yeah, as to be expected from weed shipped here from God knows where and bought on the street level as the 5-6th person to touch it. For this reason I'm anxious to flower out some SinMints I'll post soon, and hopefully be able to pin this hype to something worthy. But with the weed scene here I'm happy enough to have spent $160 for a 1/2 of decent weed, let alone anything resembling legitimate cookies.. The scene here is pretty weak.. But I guess that goes along with the fact that you can still easily fetch 45 a lb... And Neanderthal laws...

Update on my OGKB bag seed @ 27 days in under T5's.
The three girls from the '13 batch look very similar in structure and size.
The one on the left has seven bladed large fan leaves. the other two go to nine blades.
These three don't have anything unusual or distinctive smell wise yet but they look kinda forum-ish to me.
They have the deep ruby fan stems and the green stems like the forum cut.
The male came from this batch too but he got left in the dark for too long and I doubt now that I'll see good pollen this time.
I got clones of them all and I'm going to flip a male in the next run in a controlled sex tent experiment.
The freaky girl from 2011 that I'm going to call pre-forum
got flipped before she showed sex and she's just showing a little stretch and a little funky OG smell.
This thing looks pre-historic, no?

This girl in your last pic looks like the veg pics I have seen of the ogkb. Funky slow growth barely any stretch. I can get a veg pic of the ogkb and post it up for reference.
