sour dubb is really good herb and has a nice taste got to sample it at last years cup it was one my favorites mostly because of the smooth taste...but its a little different compared to cookies IMO. its like comparing cabernet to sauvignon blanc....id have to try some newer smaples to refresh my memory lol

wrf is gs cookies now? I know I think I read it was OG Kush x GDP or something like that but not sure. I think I saw some hybrid offered by some seedbank and that is what I am really interested in as I have no access to clones. Is it really all that though? Even if it is, is it really worth sacrificing all the genetic diversity cannabis has to offer? I could be wrong but it seems everyone in Cali is selling their souls for OG or bubba kush or GDP and a handful of other clone onlys and their hybrids. There have got to be far more great strains out there and yet they will go extinct if everyone just wants like 6 clone only's and change their minds later when it is too late.

Let's be honest here - the HEADIEST garden possible these days seems to be:

GSC
Chem '91 (but the right pheno of Zoo's ChemSis x NL walks all over the '91)

and

Personally, I just gotta have a TRUE purple in there - and folks vary on what they like in that regard.

For me it is Ken Father or BKGK - still not sure - so I mashed them together....lol. (FBPK)

I'm so close to having THAT line up - soon to be content a life time. It'll be hard to beat those...VERY HARD.

Although, I expect - once I have these all secured - I'll just want to breed them myself to find given nuances that highlight the aspects I desire...

got to agree that its a top 5 but i havent grown the gsc so my opion isent shit. i do know i crossed a chem sis with a sour dubb and crossed that with a choc diesel and the end result is a plant that vegges fast and big and smells just like the dubb and it is just as strong as the dubb if not stronger,

Theres been a couple reversed sour dubble crosses. Gonna reverse the sour dubble again for some more crosses. GSC x Sour Dubble could be done, could actually be pretty fucking dank. Hard to say if you would make something thats better than either parent, and that should be the goal with any breeding project. Seems like rarely you find something that much better, but its definitely possible and thats part of what makes it so damn fun.

Personally i would be more excited on Cherry Pie x Sour Dubble than GSC x Sour Dubble. Ive got some urkle x dubble beans and 1 clone. I think the cherry pie x dub would be better than urk x dub
