id like to try that mint pheno bubba, sounds bomb....i know an old school guy who grows the cookies and something very bubba dominant that he calls "kushington"...both smell very similar, cookies does lean more towards to bubba smelling side of things instead of OG...the cookies is more white/purple but the kushington is a light shade of green with zero purple tint, im pretty sure its just a pre98 bubba or something related to it...il have to buy a bag of both and do a side by side i just cracked my cookie jar open and i do catch hints of bubba in there but theres still that extra kick of mint that makes is special...

Just dropped 3 Cookie S1 seeds into a glass of RO water. Hope they turn out every bit like their mother!

crazy you guys say that I peeped the latest batch of girl scouts a few days ago at GOE and it smelled like bubba/master. lightweight minty too. I was trying to smell (at least) some OG in there since it was bx'ed but it was mostly bubba maybe some purple smell in there. straight frosted though

cherry pie ive had from garden of eden smelled like a sour dank purple strain. greasy crystals ..had a piss aftertaste I didn't like.

It was from Garden of Eden I didn't grow it. There one of the only ones that have the real shit though. ammonia type of taste a lot of different strains have it some dont mind or even really notice it. not from mold or nutes I dont think. I've had different strains that consistently (no matter the batch or source) had the same aftertaste but you couldn't tell from the smell.

There's some strains the brothers in the Sierra foothills run that can be taken at 42-45 days depending on which one and are just fine. I was really surprised how good they are. Some blow C99 away for quality.

haha my bad :p in a post right above one of mine. I thought maybe he meant the last two pics were harvested plants, but the other pics are at 6 weeks? i dunno. if he really does cut it at 6 weeks thats insane

Haha... So you finally found her? Congratulations Twinn!
Just running a few S1 seeds i've held on to from a bag....still looking for the actual cut. In fact, I am really afraid these may seed my current harvest...so i prob. wont flower them for another 8 weeks.

Heres cherry pie clone only via norcal

Your CP looks fairly different from mine. I'll have pictures uploaded in a couple weeks. My leaves are much darker, with reds coming out on the stem. The leaves look most notably different from my cut. I doubt many cuts are called CP, but i was told mine was the GDP leaning pheno of cherry pie used in the GSC cut. I've heard there is also a more durban leaning pheno...is this yours by chance? yours look much more sativa dominant in leaf structure.

i dont understand, why are you afraid they would seed your current harvest? You would be able to tell far in advance if they throw any herm balls, and you could get rid of them before any pollen is released

Thats exactly what im going to have to do, Keep a watchful eye. still makes me nervous as i've heard they can be quite unstable.

thats the risk with bagseed. if the seeds are a result of a s1 they might self polinate themselves....some plants dont. for example the cherry pie sometimes throws a pod or two, but they are inviable and dont produce seeds....

i have found seeds in cherry pie bags that i grew out and they didnt resemble the mother at all, probably more male dominant of what pollinated. but the cookie seeds were pollinated by itself or an OG kush male.

if you think it might throw pods..grab some DM reverse and hit it a few times, and just check them real closely and remove any pods before they spit.

I'd be concerned if the beans were made from a plant that pollinated itself. With bagseed you never know. For me an S1 is created when you stress a fem, either through something like silver or letting it get over mature, then use that pollen to pollinate a non stressed fem of the same type.

Either way I don't have a clue about Cookies but will say Blue Knight finishes in 45 days.

Big Twinn - If you're finding seeds in a bag of Cookies then seems it's prone to hermie. Great things can come from that stock though!

i've had the cookies and cherry pie....the cookies blows the cherry pie away in almost every way.
42 days is insane!!! take that thing to 65 days and you'll have a much better smoke, imo....got the cherry pie still trying to grab the cookies
