these 2 are only 3 weeks old, my issue is that jus last night, I mixed up a batch of 0-4-8' today I get up to that they are a lil droopy, and noticed that roots were starting to turn light brown. is this from my lucas formula? well to tell you the whole truth, I started out using b.c. boost, b.c grow, and whatever else comes in the ''recipe for success'' box. you know what I mean. I instantly had light brown slime floating everywhere, but it was mostly on my 5'' round airstones. what is this? bought new airstone and cleaned out the res. now I have a droopyness after the switch to lucas, why would this happen? any help is very appreciated, thanks in advance.

It sounds like brown algae, if this is the case you need Physan20, I believe this will kill the algae off.
You need to find out why has this occurred before it costs you!, are you keeping your res temp down?, why are using a bloom booster so early, this will not help your plants at this stage, only hinder them.

well about the bloom, im jus following the lucas formula. I wish I could figure out what was causing the alge buildup, could it be bad nutes? my temps are running a lil high, about 74F-75F, a lil warm didn't think was in danger with those temps. let me know what you think, and ask as many questions as you feel like to get this figured out.

Sometime when I do a res change my plants get a bit droopy if I take too long. Otherwise maybe a bit of shock from changing the nutes?

I had some kind of brown algae on my oxystones recently, causing my solution to be way acidic. I treated the rez with H202, let sit for 24 hours (maybe too long?) and the roots were white as white and my nute solution went stable.

How about a picture?

well as far as the droopyness goes, I figured that one out, they perked right bavk up after I got them back in the solution and under the normal lighting. I took them out and put them under a flo light, till I could get them back under my 400w cmh, which I love to death, and I've only had it for 3 weeks. clean light and low temps, and im in a small closet (96 sf).
