Ghost Train Haze #1 F2 and GTH #1 x Kali Mist

I cut some clones and breed some seeds with this small plants. It is really fun stuff and often I had very good results with my own seeds.

5 GTH #1 females and 2 Kali Mist females pollinated by 2 GTH #1 males.

I haven't found good pics of pollinated flowers. Looks like this:

I have my main flower room under the roof and the smaller clones down in the basement. One plant in my main flower room is fast and done in 8 weeks. I will harvest next days and the pollinated clones will replace it and end flowering under 600W HPS. The males will be tossed, they have done their job.

I just got two GTH fems as freebies. I think I will pollinate the best one with the best SSH male I can find out of 5 beans..

I've not tried the GTH yet although I have grown A GTH X Black Thai that was very, very nice.


I love Kali mist too I just haven't touched it in a long time. It's A shame Serious/ Simon doesn't do more with this line.

Don't breed with fems. You will get hermies. The genetic of the feminized seeds is damaged. You can't breed with feminized seeds.

Searching for the holy grail...
Although the GTH #1 is called 'Haze', the genetic of the GTH #1 contains a strong indica part and I hope for a heterosis-effect, because the Kali is about 90 - 95 % sativa. Crosses like this are good for phenotype-hunting and I hope for the plant with the potency and the flavor of the GTH #1 and the high, the yield and the vigor of the Kali.

I should have chosen my words more precise. Of cause - generally you can breed with fems. You can pollinate your fems and you will get seeds. But the risk of hermaphrodites is increased and for that it is not recommended. If you have no other seeds - do it. If you have the possibility to get regulars, get them. Of cause also regulars can hermaphrodite, but out of my own regular seeds I haven't had hermies for years.

In my opinion breeding with fems is a waste of time, work and money, because there are lots of regular seeds out there, which are more stable and cause less problems.

Ghost Train Haze #1 x Kali Mist aka Kali Haze. 21 days in flower now. Took some pics before I will educate them with bonsai wire. Still looking nice, but I'm running out of space.

I have one indica mostly plant among all my sats: White Russian x Chronic I breeded 8 years ago, but some seeds still germinate. I only grow this plant due to the flavor. It's intense mango. And I already pollinated all plants I have right now with three AK-47 F3 x (unknown x Swazi) males, because this plants have a very stable genetic and are very vigorous.

This is I was searching for. This is my desire. I have six ladies of my GTH #1 x Kali Mist cross among my plants and the plants are very different. Some look like pure sats which will flower 16+ weeks. But two are different and this here is my favorite. In the middle of the first pic you see one of two main colas. Stretch was moderate, plant is vigorous and buds look great. Hopefully this plant will finish between 12 and 14 weeks. If so it will be a keeper.

Nice to see people still growing and working with the Kali Mist i honestly feel it KM is one of the most under rated / valued lines going i really like KM and rate her highly.

I thought the GTH was more sativa going by what i read people post Great job and post coconutcurry.

You're right. The KM is underrated. The plants I grew gave a very strong sativa up high. The KM is available since 1992 and was changed a couple of times and the version which is sold today grows very sativa like and is my favorite daytime vape.

The GTH #1 is no 'Haze', although it is called so. I would say it is a 60/40 sativa hybrid and the indica part is still strong in the GTH #1. But all five plants of the GTH #1 I grew were very potent.
