Another little know fact...world wide studies wer done on near death experiences...in countries sometimes hundreds of miles apart with differing cultures an religions...most ppl reported seeing the samethings no mater the religious beliefs and cultural attachments....things started getting really strange wen these ppl experiencing these nde's wer describing floating out of ther bodies to see doctors an nurses huddled over ther bodies desperately trying to revive them..so wat was suggested in some of these studies was to place certain objects in high enuff places so that patients had now way of seeing or knowing wat was ther...a number of nde's subjects who claimed they left ther bodies wen revived would accurately describe these objects...in one case a woman described floating out of her body and out of the hospital window an floated futher up the building..she described looking through a window many floors up in the hospital an gave a accurate description of wat she saw and even said ther was a shoe on the outside window ledge think she said eleventh floor...the details wer recorded...it was only later found out wen cleaning windows that the shoe was exactly as she described an in the exact place..these are all facts that wer recorded in this medical study an can be easily looked up

Hi Guys,
I had an OOB experience at the tail of an LSD trip. Don't scoff...it wasn't a hallucination...maybe a dream? You decide...

I lived and worked in the big city...but some weekends, my small town girlfriend would drive there.

On one of those weekends...we dropped acid...having an amazing trip...walked to the Art Museum to see a display of Asian Jade carvings.

Later we settled in to bed...smoked some ganja and had sex. Afterwards, I promptly fell asleep...which is my habit.

In my mind...I found myself floating as if I were a helium balloon. Bouncing beneath the ceiling. Way down on the bed...I could see myself and my girl. She was awake, and was trying to wake me up by kissing me. I wanted to prolong the oob experience...so I told her to stop. She didn't and as I felt myself sucked back into my body...I said stop! But it was too late...

She wasn't too happy, till I told her my experience.

My personal belief is that the lsd and ganja thinned the veil enough so that my astral body was freed.
Cheers,
JohnDee

I also had an out of body experience on LSD. I went all sorts of places and all sorts of things, but nothing as noteworthy as actually seeing myself third person.

I spent years trying to get over the shock.

Yeah well, people don't wanna tell you DMT is released when your dying so no wonder people have "religious experiences" near death and live.

Does any one know much about the 21grams theory...an how they say the body loses 21grams at death...this was also done as medical study although it was done around the beginning of the 1900's..not sure if anymore wer done in more modern times..

My grandmother was telling me something a while ago about how when you die you physically become lighter. Sounds interesting, It would be nice to see the study, if there ever was one.

I've seen lights in the sky twice that cannot be explained by any phenomena I know of. One I'm not going into because it's just too complicated to explain and I don't feel like trying to condense it into something I can post in a few minutes. The other though, is something I can. A friend and I worked for a company jetting pilings for beach houses, piers and seawalls. We started at first light so we showed up at the job site before daylight and waited for our boss. We were laying on the hood of the car sharing a joint and we see two lights that looked like stars, but were moving toward each other. When they got together, they appeared to become one light, but 3 or 4 times as bright as either. The light stayed like that for about a minute, then they both zipped off in opposite directions so fast they both vanished in about 2 seconds. I'm not aware of anything that moves like that, or that fast.

The other story is more interesting. But I don't feel like trying to relate what I saw right now. One witness to this story is the same guy that I was with when I saw the lights in the first story.

Aliens? Fuck if I know, but nothing I know of moves like anything I saw. Both of these experiences happened around 1980/1981

Things get heavier when they die, like you can actually feel it.

once you take out all internal muscular support - a body does feel more weighty -

- and usually upon death the bladder or bowels might decide to evict their contents - so leading to weight loss -

Friend in the bush had a tight relationship with a woman he worked with. Very close friends, nothing sexual or intimate, but tighter than tight.

One night he woke up abruptly, startled. He had her on his mind, and had dreamt that she was reaching out to him, trying to get ahold of him, in a panic.

He got word the next day she'd been attacked and stabbed to death in her cabin by this other fellow..

True story.

That's freaking nuts. Sorry your buddy went through that. That's the kind of thing that worries me when I wake up from an intense nightmare. So far none of them have meant anything like that yet, hopefully never will.

He knew he dreamt the event before he got word, so it wasn't a hysterical false deja vu thing.

I chalk it up to there being processes in the mind that we know very little about; mostly electrical current.

He was moved by it years later, feeling like he should've been there.

Creepy story Moose Eater...

I remembered another event that held mythical significance. I was a junior in High School and my mother came to the principal's office to pull me out of class. Her Mother had been very sick and dying and my Mom wanted to go see her one last time. She lived 50 miles away and my Mom was too upset to drive.

So she and I headed out a rural highway. A short while later...as I drove...I saw a huge owl swoop up from the right side of the road, and flared up and over the hood...up the windshield and away.

A random wildlife sighting?

Two things add mystery. First, is that my Mom...awake and eyes front...did not see it. I asked her later.

And my Grandmother was Chippewa...the Owl is a bad omen and a symbol of death in their mythology.
Cheers,
JohnDee

Owls. When I hear them calling in the night as I walk our pups, I listen to see if one or more returns the call. Often they do.

We live where voles are a primary link in the food chain, surprisingly, considering their tiny size. When they're in abundance, there's more owls, coyote, weasels, ermine, etc

Driving the long-ish gravel road into Aishihik Lake in the Yukon Territory of Canada one summer, several years ago, I was focused on the road, pulling a LONG canoe trailer for my motorized 19' sq. stern, with too stout of axle springs, so trying to avoid rocks and pot holes that would send the trailer bouncing too hard.

Thus, my focus was on the poorly maintained road surface, more than anything else.

I'm guessing the Great Owl that spread one wing across our windshield, momentarily covering nearly half the windshield (and scaring the snot out of me), was probably fixated on a vole or similar on the ground, and my slow movement made me just quiet enough, that when it went to swoop down, it failed to see my truck.

No harm no foul, the bird went on its way, likely without its prey, and I got my pulse back to normal over the next several very slow miles..

But I almost always think back on that book I read as a kid, "I Heard the Owl Call My Name.' I wondered that day re a deeper meaning, but figured the above explanation sufficed.

But when I walk the dogs and listen to them at night, I listen fairly closely, to hear if there's a discernible sound other than 'Hooo'. ;^>)

Mainstream Academia etc. will only admit to 5 senses, when it's obvious that we have more than 5 senses.

Same for UFO's - how many thousands of sightings need to be reported by uniformed service personnel & other people you would normally trust ?

A LOT of people are TERRIFIED of not having "all the answers".

So they stay with the "group hug of the easily cowed", many of whom don't believe their own eyes - or fire-fighters.

... referring to all the fire-fighters who reported witnessing a controlled demolition on 9-11.

I have attributed lots of success to listening to my "other" senses...and i dont mean my cok and ballz lmao!

My elders had a "farm" property they rented out to a couple with two kids........i played with their little boy alot bb gun wars come to mind.....
one morning he is snoring.....the parents go out to walk to the country store down the road........IDK what i saw, first a weird shadow in my peripheral vision moved fast enough to get my attention, theh every goddamn hair on my back and neck stood on end and i KNEW something was there sizing me up idk....i do know i did not like the feeling i got for that brief moment and i neve rwent back to that old farmhouse again. im good.:tiphat:
