I also dont know why no one has mentioned doing a bit of a Hustle as a job. But that takes people skills since you need to find custy's. Also you need a good connection. But if you got both you can make 50-200+ dollars depending on how many peeps you serve and how good you are. Weed delivery ;)

i believe mentioning any detail would be against the TOU policy.......i could be wrong though

if you hustle

you open yourself to the evil doers that control drug territories and shit

people will come beat you, steal, all the bad shit

there are always 2 sides of the coin like they say

but surely its ok to help out some friends if you have big bag and big heart

but yeah i think its againt policy like the guy says so i dont want to put the subject , just my opinion

its bad idea

too many evil people

its not all hippies

Eventually, you guys will become adults and in the process , ( hopefully) master something worthwhile. The best way to master something is to learn from another master. So even after you get your degrees ( because you don't want menial jobs forever right ?) you will have to learn your chops from experience. When you are first starting the hardest thing to admit is that you are a beginner and don't know shit.

The only two things that will keep you from being successful are laziness and addiction. Someone told me that at a young age and it was very true.

If you get stoned and go to work you will not be worth much. I have never been qualified for any job I ever had, but always did well because I worked hard and was responsible. I went to art school, and even though it was one of the best in the country, only makes you eligible for jobs in the 14th century.

Yet, I have almost always have had fun ( exhausting, demanding) jobs that have been as much as adventure as a job.

Good luck. If you are a lazy slacker, you won't make much or go far, but if you can show up on time, work hard, be responsible, and not be hungover or high, you will never be looking for work.

I was out of work for a few months and walked around SF asking for painting jobs at scaffolds and got a job painting houses. Slacker job. Then got a job painting high end homes . Then started making custom finishes. On and on. Five years later, they fly me out to do Bill Gates house.

As an older person with my own business, I would say master something, learn every aspect of the business from experience , then start out on your own. Five years experience minimal, and at least two years managerial experience.

It's very difficult to run a business , generate work, balance the books, do the work, pay your taxes and keep people employed. I often work 60 hour weeks, but I make very good money doing something I love. That's the trick , if you love it, you will be good at it.

From that house painting job for $9.00 an hour, I have travelled to Europe and Asia, Hawaii, and have met great people while I busted my ass.

Just be creative, and disciplined. Don't look down on any job. You'll be surprised who you will meet and where it will take you. Maybe some client you meet, has a friend with a company that needs a guy to ... make twice what your making.
I have had opportunity come from jobs I was embarrased to take but had to pay the rent.

Good luck. Just my 2c as a business man who would never fit in in an office or franchise. Not all growers are like Jeff Spicolli!
