I feel so awkward, i just went into this cafe, man, these people we're on their high horses, sheit, what a bunch of retards.

but I went to this fish restaurant, and I knew the girl there, I told her to slip a good word for me, would be great, i like the atmosphere over there.

Man, i feel so awkward around people, it is so obvious they don't have, let's not talk about best intentions, I don't really know if their intentions are minimally good. Crazy people.

but at least I bought a really nice car, tercel vrooooooooooom

im gonna buy a real nice bong, and find some real nice weed

then i will only whine about the heat, but with ac, i guess, il whine less

Well life is all about dealing with people. So for some it comes easier while others find it a little bit harder. I do agree that starting a business is a good idea, but its allot of work and takes a bit of startup money. But working on people skills is alaways a good idea, it even comes in handy when having a business.

I do agree that finding a job can be a bitch. But maybe your looking for the wrong type of job, there are all sorts available.

If you're good at maintaining your car, I'd recommend a pizza delivery job. Lots of fellow stoners, free food, smoking in your car while listening to music, about $15/hour, and even cops are easier on you since you're "on the job." Both times I've been pulled over with my uniform, they let me off, once I even passed a cop. Unfortunately, i suck with cars and had to quit after I wore it useless.

I consider myself shitty with people in general, ie shy/introverted personality, but it's easier on the job. Some dirty/racist jokes(but make sure they're cool with that first), and you're bound to get some friends.

Yeah, work sucks, but for stoners it's best to get an unskilled labor job that pays decent. One that doesn't drug test and somehow gives you the oppurtunity to smoke on the job. I have a job that averages around $13/hour just walking around neighboorhoods distributing stuff(don't want to get too specific for safety reasons). I want to get a second job cleaning houses, since it supposedly pays decent for unskilled labor.

I'm kinda retired myself - never took to work really and never embraced dealing with people. Most people, in my experience, are worth actively avoiding.

The only job i want to do is growing primo weed. I'd never deal but would love to grow stuff for the medical MJ community.

I need a job to and just like you nothing is suiting me since I hate dealing with people even though that is life. I have given up in the restraunt biz because all you have to do is wonder why these people can't cook for themselves and then when they hit you with the attitude you understand.

I plan on working at a nursery or golf course, only problem is that it is seasonal

For those with seasonal jobs, what do you do during winter and such?

im a cleaner 6 hours a day, 16 dollars an hours, gives me plenty of time to smoke, see friends and smoke.........its so easy aswell, most of the time i just watch tv or read a paper because i dont have a boss there.

Here's another vote for pizza delivery. I don't know another job that let's you walk home with $250 cash after a shift during the busy season, and you can do that for three nights a week. When business is good like that, I work two days a week, and I make more than most of my full time friends do, and I just have to drive around and listen to music.

If you spray chemicals, be sure to wear gloves and long pants. You might also need waterproof boots. Take a shower everyday after work and put on clean clothes. Some chemicals in the plant business can be harmful to you. I once sprayed plants using a tractor mounted sprayer. The stuff I sprayed was mega toxic. I put on a protective suit and helmet with respirator. You could taste the chemical in your sweat on your face. Not a good thing. Anyhow, just be careful.

I have always been against delivery jobs because i am HORRIBLE with directions and I get real pissy when I get lost. But I had no idea that they can make over 10 an hour and walk out with cash.....hmmm.looks like Ill finally have to get over my fear of directions.

Yeah guys I gotta go looking for a job tomorrow too. I spent all year in the Netherlands studying....and in the process blew all my savings on beer, weed, seeds, and traveling.
I got a few leads...grocery store, another place i worked at a few years ago, resident advisor for 5 weeks at some dorms (i hate being an RA...im not one of those people who likes to tell others what NOT to do all the time.
It isn't working that I mind though....its facing the fear of rejection and going and asking people for a job that is hard.
Ahhh fuck it. Mabye i'll take a shower and go look for a job now. Gotta get this over with.

my job was 2 things
1- drive this buggy, with fertilizer in it, and it sprays, pretty funny LOL, but its a workout thats for sure on the arms

2- spray something, it kills the weeds, i dont think its toxic they say to wait 1-2h before letting animals out dunno

i will be safe

it was pretty weird, the guy was like typical farmer-style, he wasnt long in school, it was weird experience, he smokes cigarettes like crazy , and has box full of coca cola cans, man, weird experience let me say, but ill keep at it, life is no rainbow, this at least is gonna be a challenge harsh shit lol

but when im alone they are getting give* me a van, haha, and ill drive around trhe city, and do lawn shit, thats funny lol!!!

anyways ill check out if i can sustain if not, delivery boy time

Cleaning houses? Just curious, but how'd you get it? Just call up a house cleaning service from the yellow pages and ask if they're hiring? Cause I'm thinking about getting a second job doing that and the delivery thing might not be so good for me, what with gas prices and me being a dumbass with cars(fixing them).

Holy shit! The most I ever made at pizza hut was a little over $100 on a 8-9 hour shift, but usually $60-$70. Delivering to ghetto neighboorhoods brings my average down though, the cheap bastards. How long was your shift? You must work in a really generous area, or be a really hot chick(they get tipped better everywhere and everyone knows it!).

I'd say it depends on the particular pizza place's zone/territory of delivery. If it's a really confusing/hard to navigate area, just quit and find another place with an easier area. I had a hard time too with one pizza place and ended up quitting from stress/getting lost, and this was after being the fastest driver at a previous place where I knew the area like the back of my hand.

Oh, and for the future delivery folk, I'd recommend keeping a blacklist of people who are assholes, so you can, uh, give them some extra toppings :wink: if they're stupid enough to order from you again after being dicks. Not tipping doesn't warrant that sort of thing, but if they're assholes about it treating you like their bitch because their lazy ass didn't want to go pick up their pizza, they deserve something.

I also dont know why no one has mentioned doing a bit of a Hustle as a job. But that takes people skills since you need to find custy's. Also you need a good connection. But if you got both you can make 50-200+ dollars depending on how many peeps you serve and how good you are. Weed delivery
