Germing old seeds

I am currently trying to germ some seeds that are about 25-35 years old. The questions I have are:

Can it be done?
What is the best temp to germ at?
And how long should it take to germ them if it can be done?

Here is a lively lil number saved from about 22 yrs ago.

She is a skunk strain unknown what its crossed with. But it kicked ass
Lung buster.. for sure.. It will be updated in my grow in the growers forum..
I dropped the seed in h2o with a lil superthrive and soaked it over night then into soil. if i remember correctly.. LOL peace.

Yeah, I don't exactly know what strain these are. I have tried three differnt ways to germ them and they act like they will but then they don't. Maybe they are to old? Okay I just went to put some in water like you did but they didn't sink does that mean they are no good?

No, lots of seeds doenst sink. Well, at leas with me. I wait for 24hrs and then sink them with my finger.

Thanks Tic I was scared they were no good. I really want them to germ so I can find out what strain it is. Wouldn't it be nice if it were some strain like Thai or some other kind that you can't find pure strains of anymore?

Sorry to disappoint you Tic. The old man said no. I would have loved to get ahold of those powerplants tho. Still no luck germing these oldies out. I'm still trying.
