Hi Rose56, you are more likely to find hash than buds there, try not to buy the Turkish hash. As far as the laws go it is hard to get arrested for a small amount in germany.

Whereabouts in Germany, it's a pretty liberal place up North, but pretty draconian down South, practically like two different countries. I lived there for almost ten years.
Used to be pretty easy to get seeds, headshops were all over the place, but a few years back they cracked down on seeds country wide, not sure what the situation is right now. You can get on a train and be in Holland in a few hours from most parts.
North Germany has a "coffee shop" in most cities where smoking is tolerated and one type of standard Maroc will be sold, it'll be in the red light district. They have such a bad hard drugs problem in most places that weed isn't really on the radar. I used to smoke a spliff walking around town most of the time in Hannover, never had a problem.
