Yes my friends, They stopped me just across the border on the German side. Almost ruined my day in Amsterdam, They Frisked me like a criminal, Literally tore my car apart looking for drugs, Took everything out of my wallet. Unhooked my rear seat and lifted it up, they didn't even put it back, They didn't find the seeds I just paid 700 Euro for. Stashed in my back seat drink holder, It paid off to having an American Vehicle in Germany, they weren't that familiar with it. Those assholes pulled up my seats opened the trunk, hood, everything! Fucking clowns. I will post pictures of the seat they fucked up and the seeds they didn't get, once I figure out how to do pictures!

i am really sorry to hear that, and ashame for our cops...
It is really a bad thing that german border police treats people like us like criminals; okay due to the german laws we are, but... you know!
I think every of the guys in the german sub-forum has been in that situation as well,; at least once!
I even had to pull down my trousers when we had pulled out to the parking lot when we just passed the border near Münster.

But hey, you were lucky; when i read the thread-topic i though "oh no, another guy got caught with his stash", but u got out of that quite well^^

Anyways, good that you were "prepared" well!

They got me within a couple minutes after crossing over the border on A3. I know the German Border Police have a job to do, they don't want illegals, Weapons and Hard drugs entering Germany, unfortunately peaceful guys like ourselves are caught in the crossfire as we are also targeted in this failed war on cannabis. I am not upset I was stopped, I am not even upset they searched me, I am upset that they couldn't even put my car back together when they were done searching. Now if they would have found my beans then it would have been a whole different story. I would be very upset. My car would have been taken, I would have went to jail, Huge fines and penalties, criminal records, all over some seeds. Get real I say!

They wont take your car and you wont go to jail. They will take your seeds though and you will be charged.

They wont impound my vehicle or take me to jail. Thats surprising. I am assuming they tore my car apart for the following reasons

1. I was returning to Germany from Amsterdam
2. I am American
3. I drove an american car
4. I was middle aged and by myself

I was driving the same speed as everyone else, it was the middle of the day with lots of traffic. I have to assume they pulled me over because I had an American Vehicle and when they walked up I spoke English and had a bag of souvenirs from Amsterdam.

Thanks ganja your right. You take the good with the bad. I am thankful I was not caught, so I cant be too upset. It would have been a very bad day to be caught with all those beans.

The last time I've been trought germany from holland a few years ago everything went smooth till we decided to stop for a walk in a parking of the highway near mannheim. as soon as we stopped the car we were followed by a fast car who had two guys that with the excuse of o 'normal' drug contol searched the car... we had one last joint that I could hide during the search. we were lucky to travel with 2500+ bulbs of flowers. so they fed up digging in bags of dirt and bulbs or 'zwiebeln'. I speak a little germane and they wandered a lot that we could eat all those onions....Lol).
so they let us free.. we drove one way out of germany consuming the joint. but once at the border with swizerland the german side stopped us and searched in every part of the car. I was surprised that they looked into every part of our luggage and car, putting back everything perfectly and exactly how it was. amazins searching skills. they found only 3 pills of suspect guarana...
and it ended up after 3 hours lost in search of nothing...
we had long hairs and we were back from a wild party in holland, we looked freak somehow...
but we learnt not to stop anymore in germany, make it one way...
some friends were caught and it was not pleasant...

What you experienced was simple police control... they seemed to act rude and shitty, that could be also a matter of your origin... I can't guarantee but you surely can imagine... german border police searching in a american car.. having a fun time letting the guy wait.. damn i sure can imagine...

The Germans can be pretty hard when it comes to smuggling and illegal activities. In Bavaria especially, you have to watch out for Civil Cops in BMW Cars. Check for their back windows, if theres a electric sign shield you know whats up.... In Germany seeds, plants in every grow stadium are forbidden. The possession of cannabis too..

Germany seems more strict to me than austria, even though i never had troubles in both countries!

i never had problems in either austria, switzerland or germany.
although i even crosed the border from germany to switzerland, a main border spot, and got stopped by one guy at the border checking my trunk for stuff (probably like alcohol, your only allowed 1 case wine and stuff like that, also they check for money getting moved to switzerland.. but sure not in my case... hehe). anyways.. i got half my luggage full of stuff that the guy sure shouldn't see. and altough he had a quick look around my stuff he didnt find anything.
so all good.
i am driving around germany a lot and never had problems.
the south is worth than the rest. especially around munich, the bavarian area. although around stuttgart can be rough. dont stop there on the motorway. like dr. p said, its one way, and that's the fast lane. your allowed to drive fast. just do it. and dont stop.
that way you might get lucky.
usually works. have a safe journey!
also having a clean car: no broken lights, local license plate, no stickers on the back and stuff like that, helps wonders.

Back in the 90s (long time before i grow indoor) I Own a "Opel B-Kadett" (Build in 72`) , Red and i spray some graffity on the sides one of the graffities had a Uzi within and other side a Ganja Leaf ..

Imagine the same exact situation plus losing your seeds and therefore instantly getting fined - and if you cant pay there or at the next ATM your car taken into custody until you pay.
