but how do ppl outside of a-dam get there nug there for the cup???
seems like it wont work unless your living around that area...

A good idea for the 2010 Cup would be to rent out a coffee shop for 72 hours for our exclusive use....I don't see any need for bands or big venues or other places to get to. The main reason we would want to be at the Cup is for smoking great bud and hash as well as meeting like minded people.

I'd find a comfy corner and never leave..lol

What's up all? As it happens I will be in Amsterdam in the last two weeks of march for Jam in the Dam, and will be returning from a jaunt through Europe around 4/20. It seemed the info for last years event wasn't even made public until the end of march. Is that correct? Has there been any communication from the organizers as to when and where this year's event will take place or do you all reckon it will not come until late again? Can anyone tell me how much a judges pass was and how the whole thing works. I've never been to Amsterdam, and never been to any type of cannabis competition. Thanks.

exactly! a rented coffee shop with a big sign "Private Party" on the front door would be excellent...if that's not doable, then a big house boat could be rented with enough space for all of us to party in .....both would be memorable!..there's nothing quite like a 72 hour party!

Well having been a tourist and a Cup attendee for the first time in 2009 I'd say the hot shower is the foremost important thing.

So wherever you stay make sure you can enjoy a hot one after a long day.

Coffee in the morning is a must IMO so that's number two.

Avoiding a foam bed is up there with the shower.

I feel that I missed some of the fun with the Cup people but it's was hard to see Amsterdam for the first time and do the Cup properly in ten days.

One trip is not enough.. This time out I would be a judge for sure.. Would love to have brought smoke too this last time.. Thanks to everyone who shared!

That was one place where a few grams of store bought weed, hash and maybe a space cake or two could be "low class" Anywhere else I've been I would be king.

It is red with yellow lettering AMSTERDAM, we'll dig up pic one day... if anyone recalls losing such a lighter...ummm let's say six months ago. hehe

you dont have to attend , anyone in usa who cant make it can still enter ,,u have 6+ months notice , a weed competition wether official or not will take place ,entry forms are usually up a month before ,
