Exactly. It's a whole day of your time as a vendor. At that price you'd need 100 clones to be worth the time, and if shit goes down which has already happened at one of these, who's gonna take the hit? The person with 100 clones for sale on their table. Risk vs reward just not there. If it were a legal market with no risk to vendors it might be a different story but that's not the case at this event. Anyone with a table is putting themselves in the line of fire.

You going to have samples of the flowers at $30 a cut? I could do that if I know the plants are going to be dank as fuck. Just small sample to smell and look at, smoking would be a plus of course.
As long as I know for fact it's killer $30 ain't too bad, certainly better than searching through seeds at $100 per pack half males. Lol

actually searching thru seeds is not a bad idea at all ...$100 for a 10 pack of seeds is too much ...seeds should be $5 apiece

the guy next to me moved close to 300 clones @ $30 and many were off name to me but he had a bunch of clones I wanted and I bought 4.
his selection changed all day, they had a van in the lot and were bringing in different boxes all day that had different clones in them so there were different selections from him all day long and he was not filling orders from a list, it was choose from the 50 on the table at his booth.
if he would have had examples of his gear in flower like I did I'll bet he could have got more per clone.
people want to see what they are getting.
they were selling seeds and flowers and extracts too and really cleaned house there.
some of the vendors at these sell up to QP bags of flowers and I had two people want to buy QP's of buds I had on the table.

For real I started chucking pollen years ago. I love selecting good cuts but I ain't paying $1k for just 50 Jack Herer seeds, when there's a chance you won't find anything too special.
$5 packs should happen preferably with the stability of tomatoes too. Lol

was it Boston George AKA Berkshire clones/ Greylock valley farm?
I will say that the Sour Papaya from The Herban Cannabis Co was a nice big healthy girl. The boys also grab 2 packs of seeds from them Congac ( Mimosa x Cherry Cookies) and Mimosa x pineapple chunk for $20..hard to beat that price.

Anyway just wanted to chime in not as a green rusher trying to make loot but as a med patient who out of necessity and enjoys growing my own meds (kinda
it can be alot of work). I would happily pay 50 for some bangin genetics but they would be bug free, well rooted, and healthy and you would know what your getting for flower to some degree. Could even see 75 for something elite in stellar condition. Would obviously expect deals on volume but i cant see getting this level of cuts at MC`s and restaurant/event rooms. $30 is alot when you know nothing about what you are getting or what you get dies in a couple days due to poor condition. I think this is where mass is lacking and could do better. Maybe it is the next big industry considering where the price of flower is going. The green rushers will come and go once they see the amount of work to produce an exquisite product and the expense of living in this state. Just my donation to this thread of alot of different ideas.

For real I might just have a few that can become stars I just don't change my names. I have a killer super skunk tastes like roses smell I just call her Super Skunk. Lol, I haven't seen frostier buds in Widow I've grown.
People love it in my area, but I call her something unique and pass out clones people will treat her like Sweet Pink Grapefruit or even GG#4 it's on the same level IMO just tastes magnificent. Of course I have never tested for potency but she's a keeper alright. Of course I do like GG#4 too. I even went through like 100 seeds from the same breeder nothing has come close to the keeper of that first pack.
Of course I give her out nobody will know who it came from like most all the other elites. I've been trying to breed her into Critical Mass to keep the flavor and potency with the size of a Rottweiler. Of course selection is a bit of a bitch. She is certainly a diamond in the rough like most truly great cuts.

Pretty much why I care more about a sample of a cut than just the name. I can sell GG#4 all day most won't complain meanwhile I'd just be selling dank cuts. Of course I wouldn't do that growing dank is cheap I'm an outlaw not a hustler.
Of course I have always wanted to try original cuts, so much hype but the S1 seeds never seem to deliver any better than even F2's I make.
But with samples of $30 clones I might just be willing to breed with them. Of course males are the ****s to find elites.
I will certainly try to have samples of flowers but Im a small time guy, with 2x 600w lamps in flower room. It would take something of a miracle to have jars of flower of the clones Ide be vending at the exact same time I am vending. But I will certainly try.

Don't really need jars and jars just a nice cured bud of each to smell and look at would work. Don't really want to pay $30 for a clone if I have to wait to see just how dank it is. Pictures just don't work you can make anything look great just because we can't smell it. Lol
I will keep a few buds from the keeper pheno.... CBs1 #2. Its devine. Great bud structure. Vigorous. Dense, tight buds. Smells of sweet, pure banana funk. Its a keeper for sure. I cant wait to smoke it in a few weeks. The CBs1 wax it makes is fantastic! Everyone went bananas over it. No pun intended.
