How is taking a pic (presumably) from the Olympic opening ceremony and assigning your own odd interpretation not grandstanding?
I mean to me it looks like part of a performance and zero to do with transgender.
I was wondering how that ceremony went down in the US Bible belt?

It's showcasing the city/country that hosts the games. Guess what, I guess the French aren't freaked out by something a bit different.

Doesn't sound like it's something happening too often to me. 3,600 12-18yr olds over a 4 year period. The numbers have increased but that's more likely due to less social stigmatization of transgender people. I largely agree the surgeries should wait but then again I'm not a doctor, and the ones who are ultimately making these decisions, are, in fact doctors. Children and their parents aren't going to a clinic asking to be made transgendered lol.
