Didn't see any other posts on this cut so I started a new thread.

GDP- (Humboldt Heirloom Cut)

This cut came from GMO. (His photos)

So this pre dates Ken's Cut by a really long time and from what I gathered is the real GDP before he popularized his cut. Looks proper to me. Had Ken's Cut for a few years and it was good, but just like most of the strains of old, Ken's Cut was missing something from the GDP I remember. We used to get a lot of the classics from Cali. Purple Kush, GDP, Urkle, Grape Ape, OG, etc, and everything nowadays seems like a watered down version of what once was. Have a feeling I'll be really impressed with this one, but only time will tell!

She had a rough trip, but didn't skip a beat. Got her transplanted and in quarantine but will be doing a trial run as soon as she comes back from testing and gets big enough to rip some clones.

Yeah different cuts for sure. Those nugs are definitely different. I've been on the hunt for the one I'm talking about myself. That looks super proper though. Really afghan looking.

Definitely looks legit and it's supposed to taste like grape & skunk. Haven't heard anybody having gross domestic product since probably the early 90s. That's a blast from the past. Hope you find it.

Is it a real squat grower in veg , that's how the old legendary cut of GDP i had grew, looks very similar from pics you posted.

I hope to get her back 1 day to do some more GDP Feminized projects, especially the S1's.

I still have seeds made from the old legendary cut I had years back.

Hard to say since he grew it in aeroponics and his first photos were already in flower with 7 weeks of veg, but it looks like it stays short and grows wider than taller. Doesn't look like it had much stretch at all in flower.

Right on that's awesome. There's probably some gold in those seeds. Been seeing an uptick on the classics, even from some of the growers who mainly focus on the newest hype strains. Our market is still pretty new, going on 3 years being legal, but everybody has been wondering what happened to all the classics.

Tasted it in 2006 I remember green dark, green purple hued buds with a creamy, grape taste. I don’t remember it skunky , but this was just the sample I tasted…. Also had a very smooth and mellow high?

I haven't tasted this one yet so can only go from his posts. The first GDP we were getting in the early 2000s from Cali had a grape/cream type flavor too. Excited to see how it turns out!
