Looking good so far.

Best of luck with it! :)
Thanks for stopping by

Will be interesting - can't wait1

TGT
Indeed it will..thanks for looking

Looking good GDK, are you going to build a drip system? How often will you be watering? Feeding in coco 3-5 times per day with run off has incresed my yields by at least 30%.

Heya brother..yea im gonna build a dripsystem..I must say that i found that most of my early troubles with coco came from actin like a lil bitch and not lettin go of the soil mentality..i started seing the same symptoms right after transplant this round too and thought fuck it. Must be the watering frequency..now im watering twice a day and the girls are loving it..i believe im gonna go the same route as you and feed em 5 times a day in peak flower..gotta keep that shit wet!!

Hi there GDP,
I've been following you efforts taking on coco, and must say that you honesty is much appreciated, and helping me to learn.
What happens ime with packed water, is that excess calcium throws of magnesium causing def.
When this is once realised, the plants have allready been feeding slowly causing buildup=imbalances=ph++++.
According to the water print out, in your bicarb thread, there is a 6:1 relationship in calcium/magnesium.
If you add your own cal-mag the relationship is 3:1.
Why not play it safe, and cut out tap alltogether?

When treating coco as dirt, watering every 2-3 days, one can get away with not using ro using the 0,9 soup background lime groundwater. Only experiencing minor issues.
But doing it the hydro way, one is in for a buildup, having packed, inbalanced water like that.
I'm using canna aswell, and have had fails because of buildups.
Now I allmost failed trying to avoid buildups feeding too lightly.
"The canna dilemma"
A lot of growers say don't feed more than 1,4 ec in veg.
With canna, this is the absolute minimum, when following their guide.

Watering stragegy is a major element also.

Anyways, I have no intend launcing any discussion here, but very interested in knowing how you go about it.

Best of luck dialing in.

Will be dialing along right with you.

Hey man and thanks for peeping the other thread too. Like i just told HGO i believe my soil mentality was actually responsible for most of the troubles i had..I did however adjust my inital ec before adding nutes, from .4 to .2, mixing tap and RO. It seems it fits the girls just right..I learned not to rely on runoff last round, but looking at it right now, it looks perfect. EC same as goin in, and pH 6.3-6.5. Im feeding @ 1.2 EC/5.8pH btw.

I snapped a few pics today..gonna flip em tomorrow i think. i topped em all once, except one SD that got tied down to fill the table right. Im pretty damn impressed so far, and i feel i am finally gettin the upper hand on this coco stuff..

Pics in next post..

looking good in here, brother!

I like seeing them spread out like that with so many tops getting ready to stack internodes. Looks like your set up for some colas in the near future...

Wait...I just caught that...you flipping tomorrow? Not gonna give them a few more inches of more vertical growth first? I'm learning how to grow still...hehehe...

how high is your ceiling?

Heya FAM.
@ that point they wasnt even spread out right...tied em down the day after and flipped em..yes i flipped em...these strains are stretchers and even more so with these current nutes and the cocolite growth. Ceilings are 8ft, minus the hoods and the 2x4 across the ceiling, and the table+pots. Ill show ya how much happened since last, in a minute.

Lookin super healthy and bushy!

Thanks man..peep this then..

I flipped the girls the 1st of june, and so we find ourselves @ day 12 today. Tied em down and defoliated a bit, and the proceeded to turn the lights back around. The elbow turns was killin my airflow, and kept pulling the hoods to overlap each other. Im still not too happy about it, as i really wanted the lumen/par overlap, but oh well.
Also stopped adding the Startbooster, and started mixing in the Topbooster and also started using the Super PK @ week 2. Regulator are bein used all the way thru. So far they are loving it...i also started watering 2 x 1 liter per day, and im about to up that to 3 x 1 liter soon..damn these bitches be drinking massively!!! Also got my dripper setup waiting for me to pick it up at the post office...a 2500 l/h Hailea pump and some PE hosing etc..should be nice.
Well enough talk...here we go:

Nice shots GDK - thanks for getting in there so I can take a peek! I see how they are stretching out for ya...

As I said, it's something I'm working on in my own grows - getting those staked colas rather than smaller danklet buds across the canopy. Of course this is some what strain dependent, but still, has a ton to do with veg. I'm learning I don't give enough focus to my veg. PoopyTeaBags told me this nearly an entire year ago - and I guess I didn't really get it until here recently...

Anyhoo...I'm tagged in and taking notes, brother!

Hey guys and thanks for peeping..ive been dealing with real life the past weeks, but i am back now, and ready to rock.
Ive had to move the lights on period to run at night because of the summer heat..so ill snap some shots right before lights on today to let yall know how things look. Installed drippers and are running them 3x2 minutes pr day, giving each pot roughly 1.4 liters every feeding...and they are LOVING it. Ill get some pics up of that too...was kinda worried that one drip spot pr pot wasnt enough, but they are gettin saturated nice and evenly so its all good...ill be back later with the goods..

Thanks fellas...im kinda embarassed that i didnt properly update this thread, but things has been hectic for the last month or so...a proper update is well overdue.
Like i wrote in my last update i was about to set up drips. I simply had to, as i was going out of the country for a week and that left me no choice but to automate the irrigation. Also, i was gettin sick of mixing nutes and handwatering several times each day. So i threw together a very simple system consisting of a 200 liter res, a Hailea HX4500 pump(2500l/pr or 635gph), some 1" PE hose, stakes and spaghetti tubing. I simply punched holes in the PE hose and plugged in the spaghetti tubes..didnt even bother with the grommets as the tubing has to be forced into the punched holes...its absolutely water tight.

Its a simple but effective system. I built in a anti-siphon valve that also serves as a nice aeration mechanism inside the res (thanks HGO). It also allows me to adjust the flowrate to the drippers. The pump also has a built in flow controller. Im running it 3x2 mins pr day which gives each plant roughly 1.4 liters each feeding.

So lets have a look at the gurls shall we? Things have progressed nicely, but unfortunately i ran outta Regulator in week 4, so havent been using that lately. Feeding base nutes, Super PK, TopBooster and a weekly blast of CalMg-Booster. Stopped giving SensiCal after week 5, but still am hittin them with the CaMg-Booster. Maxed out at EC 1.8, but now were @ day 39 im at EC 1.5 and pH 6.1-6.3. Check em out...
