Gavita pro in 4x8 with light rail

I have a Gavitasave pro in a 4x8 gorilla with extensions on a light rail can anyone tell me where the stop points and delay and speed they are using to maximize yield any input would greatly be appreciated have a 10 site rwdc in tent

I can let you know once I dial in my exact same setup in about 3 weeks.. I think that I will use the whole rail and the recommended stop time from the lightrail company.

Necessity is the mother of invention, and the necessity here is that super hot spot under the center of the the Gavita DE bulb. The best way to deal with that, is to place your plants so that the hot spot travels over a plant and stops between containers. Growing your un-topped plants to three foot diameters maximizes this strategy, and all the other math falls into place...

in a 4x8 u shouldnt need to use anywere near the entire rail honestly.. u want the bulb to move about 2-3 feet max. back and forth.. i honestly wouldnt let it stop at one end or theother just back and forth because the hot spot on the DE bulb is more intense.. proly get a great yield honestly.

Actually for a 4x8 with 1000w gativa you would want it to start at the 2 foot mark and travel to the 6 foot mark, 4 feet in total. A 1000w will give you a perfect 4x4 footprint at about 80,000 Lux to the centre and 55000 Lux to the outter plants at 22" above the canopy. An 80 dollar light meter will be your best friend to fine tune it all and get proper placement so your not wasting light on the walls or over run

killing time u ran with gavitas? gavitas vs single ended bulbs = WAY DIFFERENT.. u might have used a mover back 5 years ago with crap bulbs. but gavitas have a 4x6 pattern.. and people showing rock hard buds all the way to the fucking ground in their rooms. lol. so if he moves it 3 feet back and forth he will blow peoples minds.
