MGJ I'm just guessing but it looks like my harvest will be half of what I got last year. Oh well I'm looking for quality not quantity! I think the quality is there
These pics ought to refresh your memory of what a jungle I had last year. Look at the size of those bad girls!!!
Yeah - you're right of course... just my memory - too much amnesia Still, as you say, the quality is there.
Been thinking about it, you bring up a good point earlier - if you're doing a scrog, how are you gonna up-pot frequently into slightly larger pots when there's a screen with branches twisted through it? To me it seems the only option is to do exactly what you did.
hello garlic
ahhh shit bro i think this is the first time i have seen any pics of last years grow, FNsweeeet brother those are monsters......
ya i think yield is not the main goal when growing the urk its the taste and potentce that most growers are after when growing the urk's....even if you come well short this year your still going to have some very fine bud to toke on for awhile my friend......
very nice
MGJ I've thought long and hard about how I can transplant with the screens? I think I have come up with a solution though?
If I unscrew my screens and lift the plants out of their containers screen and all I think I will be able to do a series of transplants next year? I guess we will have to wait and see?
I'll trade you some of mine for some of that amnesia?
Superzero Did I miss something? Muffy's dive shop?
Thanks for the props bro. It should be better than last year? Only smoking will tell?
Jaws I'm not really worried about the yield with the urks. Our friend already said he has more clones for me. What a friend huh?
Go wayyyyyy back in my gallery and you will see the complete jungle. and that ugly ass bastard in the pics is our friend. Purple rain lover.
They sure are coming along now, Garlic. I would take you up on lunch and a smoke but mapquest says we are an estimated 2332 miles away. Driving time was like 34 hours and that didn't count gas and pee breaks. Hmmm. I might have to settle for a balona sandwich and cigarette. Poor me. Hey, howa bout you send a clone to me in the mail? By the time the US postal System gets it to me, it will have rooted and flowered out and just need to be cured.
How'd it go this weekend? My bud Striper took down his rom today.. he saw early signs of bud rot. It had a lot of cloudy trichs but no ambers yet... I think it should be fine. He says it's the best lookin plant in his yard...I'm gonna have a look tomorrow or Tues.
OJ Yeah that would be quite a commute. MGJ lives about 1 1/2 hour drive away and that is hard enough to make time to hookup, I couldn't imagine that drive for lunch?
I have stopped sending clones in the mail way too risking and it costs too much. Sorry.
Sparky I think my next thread will be "Garlic Abusive Growing Style"?
Glad to see you around old man! I thought maybe they were working you to death and once you got home at night you were going straight to bed and tooooo tired to go online?
Gro The urkles got the chop sat night. They had a lot of tossed green salad on them real leafy and a lot of stems I guess they best way to grow them is to top the shit out of them?
That Rom is definitely a keeper. It is the frostiest plant I have I think mine has a few weeks before she gets the chop?
Eventhough it's a romulan and not an Afgooey like they said it was supposed to be, I don't understand why everyone bashed the cut so bad? It looks like it will be some killer smoke?
Jaws she should yield nicely for you bro. I suggest that you trim any fan leaves that are covering any buds. I noticed on mine that the buds that got full light were awesome. The ones that were shaded didn't turn out to nice.
I'll get some pics of the hanging buds in a little bit.
hello garlic
yes bro i agree 100% on the leaf removage i'm sure i'll catch some shit for it but i have done it in other grows and it helped a great deal.....i thought about doing that as i was taking those pics this morning, i could see all the dudsites that were being covered by the large fanleaves.....i will begin selectively removing the fan leaves each time i pull them out untill i'm happy with what i see or my plants tell me thats enough.....
peace bro
