Ganja tea

Anyone else try the water tea method yet?
I should have some trim soon, I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl.
Thanks for sharing your method with us.

the vapor room in SF has an amazing array of all different types tea flavors and choices. most clubs i've been to only have teas made with just buds and leaves and arent yummy... does anyone have any recipies for some super flavorful and unique teas without the use of any kind of milk? i just scanned through the thread so bear with me if i'm being redundant. thanks!

Well, I'm sipping on a tasty cup of tea I brewed up with a quarter oz of some good herb. I hand crumbled the herb into ~12 oz of pure water in a glass double boiler. Went for the recomended half hour and then strained with the trusty french press. The flavor is subtle, but much better with a touch of honey.

I'll let everyone know how it goes...

Sorry, Ez, not nearly potent enough for a regular smoker. Admittedly I have a high tolerance, but I barely even felt any eye droop. If you smoke once in a blue moon and have a good bit, I'd say there is some effect, albeit very, very subtle.

I'm gonna smoke a bowl now :rasta:

fair enough, each to their own. I really like it, but I admit its not for everyone.

I read elsewhere that adding a little dash of clear grain alcohol or rum can help a lot... something about being a non-polar solvent, whatever the hell that means. Me no chemistry per-fessor...

If I were to want to make just one cup of tea, how much trim (very well cured Romulan in this case) would I need? And what's the optimum simmer time in whole milk?

Interesting....

Could this be that THC isn't being dissolved in the water but other canabinoids are?

I'd imagine you'd get some THC breaking off into the water (not necessarily dissolving), but other substances which affect the high might dissolve more easily in boiling water. The smell things... trepanoids or something - they are meant to affect the stone too, so they could be what is interacting with the low levels of THC.

What is the stone like when you do it in this method? More/less couchy, more/less intense? etc.

This is what the Jamaicans do... they take the fresh young mj plant ..make tea out of the stems/leaves. Its more therapeutic than mind-altering.

4 cups of warm milk
2 tablespoons of finely chopped almonds
1/4 tbs of Garam Masala (cloves, cinnamon and cardamom)

Directions:

Melt the cannabis butter in a 2 qt saucepan.
Stir in milk until mixture reaches boiling.
Stir in honey continuing to mix, then almonds, garam masala, ginger and water.
Bring to a boil. Cover the saucepan and turn off the heat.
