G 13 Labs C99

I'm growing this C99 from seed outdoors . . . these are new, as I've not grown anything from G 13 before; it's the only C99 seed I could find at the time.

It certainly looks like none I've grown! But after doing some research, it looks like their Pineapple Express, which has had many excellent reviews and is very similar to C99. Leaf structure looks indica . . . but looks similar to the Pineapple.

Thought people would like to know, as the C99 seeds (genuine) are scarce . . .

Also in this picture is some 818 Headband. Now this plant deffintaly looks like a Hybrid, which is what it is . . .

He he, yes that C99 looks pretty sketchy! But it grows like it's on steroids . . . . got a late start, too. Hopefully I'll bring it to harvest & certainly do a report so we'll have some basis for this G 13 Labs outfit.

Waitin' . . .

nice healthy looking plants you might want to cut that chicken wire a couple squares or so so them side branches will be able to get through, or is that just up for pests?

Yes, Noonin I had something I just could not trap or be rid of . . . so, chicken wire! I am opening it up now . . .

Ah yes, Desert Hydro . . . at least they are consistent! Ha . . . must be something good they were working with; I'm pretty much the same -- as long as it's good and comes in on time; we'll see!

Kinda . . . it has a rather strange/fast growing structure . . . fat, fat leaves blooming like mad; hope it's good! but it could be bad . . . time will tell

Great pics, she looks nice! But way different than the C99 from Female Seeds I had..their C99 was way way more sativa with very thin leaves and it grew like a vine.
Can you say anything regarding the smell? I know describing smells is difficult..

so far very skunky smell . . . smell it for u see it . . . reminds me of some Hashberry I grew; the Hashberry (IMHO) was about 5% THC, not so hot . . . but I have better hopes for this; their Pineapple Express, which this resembles, had very high reviews, no pun intended!

I've grown C99 for 10 yrs, even had some seeds, but ran out of genuine seeds & wanted to try something else soooo . . . we'll see what happens!

hey lucky,
so do these guys sell that variety and call it c99 ,
when it clearly isnt c99 and more likely a hybrid ,
perhaps it has no c99 in it at all ??

that would be false advertising wouldnt it ???

he he, yes it's an unknown! I do have high (he he) hopes for this whatever it is!

most likely it is their Pineapple Express: 17% THC 56 day strain . . . mango & pineapple smell/flavor
cross between Hawaiian & Trainwreck . . . I have some trainwreck, but it's like "Meh", so thought I'd track this stuff & see where it leads . . . hard to get genuine C99 anymore

Hey lucky7

I first tried to grow 99 outdoors in 2000. My brother in law fell in love with the plant and its still his grail today. Hes kept a mom since the late 90's and he made a bunch of f2's from his original grow from grimm seeds.

It was a dismall grow. Every bug within 2 miles of the plant landed on it. Leaf cutters, hoppers, borers and every other scourge seemed to want to make a meal from it. The stems were weak and the plants had to be supported from 45 days until sept. Vigor and hardiness were NOT presene in any degree with the plants. I planted 12 plants on May 1, harvested about 10 ozs from the bunch and that was after hand holding the girls until the first of Oct.

I thought maybe it was my growing so i attempted to grow it several other time and then grew at least 4 or 5 Something X99 crosses. Its my view the 99 cant be grown outdoors with any reasonable results. Ive talke with number of other growers over the years and they concluded the same thing. Its an indoor plant.

I saw the g13 offering and was intrigued and almost bought some for this summers effort, but i knew for a fact that it wasnt straight c99. Its a cross with something and they should come out and tell us what it is. I decided to wait and see if others grew it to see what the story is.

Is the straight up panic, hard breathing, head sweating paranoia that smaks the smoker between the eyes with the 4th -5th toke like an injection of meth their or not? Your going to find out and i hope youll let us all know.

The 50 day pinnappley grimm offering doesnt have an equal in the seed world that ive been able to find over the years and i hope youve found one. Ive grown several g13 strains: one was very good, a couple mediocre and 1 sucked, so im gonna tune in.

Good luck to you buddy. I hope its everything i hope it is because if it is, you'll be dancing in the streets. Keep us posted and ill keep my fingers crossed for you.

moondawg thanks so much for your post! interesting . . . wow, your results with the plant are disheartening to say the least . . . .

I bought some from Gypsy's old stock 10 years ago and grew it until 2 yrs back
the last 2 seeds didn't sprout, prolly old . . . . I did make some seeds but haven't bothered with them yet . . . wanted to try someone else's too which brings us to
this yrs grow . . . .

Gypsy's seeds were spot on dynamite shit . . . leave you hiding in the front room watching for cops hahahaha, very speedy paranoia inducing, really let you know you were high if ya know . . . . they grew extremely well outdoors, lol mold resistant stuff too . . . .

but I hear you; I have experienced what you speak of with certain strains . . . just not the C99

Let us hope this has some good Sativa qualities!! Female Seeds C99 gets good reviews also, so don't give up on outdoor! 'cause she will do well . . .

female seed's c99 is the way to go.. i've only grown their grapefruit, but it's not far off from the c99 and looked way more sativa dom than your g13lab specimen.. also, female seed's c99 is derived from brothers grimm stock.

Looking AWESOME btw lucky man
