risk shaw, the link did not work for me either.

TMB, try this one from Mercury News:

Really cowardly, chickenshit way to go about any concerns someone might have about the venue. Why not at least wait till the first meeting had been held to hear the whole proposal and then give any specific complaints (if any).

Doesn't sound like the Fairfax town council was too thrilled with they way this was done either. I hope they have Phil and Jill's backs.

Red Rocks for me at the end of the month.

It's Red Rocks 25th anny so any show this year makes it kinda special, can't wait for Phil to drop some Bombs!

Good luck, Peace

^ I've heard red rocks is breathtaking. I more than likely won't be able to make any of these fall tour dates but in the spring, I'm going to try to get a college schedule with my off day being friday so I'll have that extra day for fests and some weekend shows. I would try to make St.Louis but its on a sunday night and I'd have to be at class at 8AM the next morning.

My favorite part of last night's TRI webcast :D

A friend of mine's dad is in his early 60's and talked about going to red rocks for shows and even mentioned the recent falling rocks. It was like getting a history lesson as he went to a lot of major fests and talked about the Dead being his favorite of all of the musicians of that time. I interject to say that the Dead are pretty relevant even today as I enjoy them quite a bit-they are my favorite-and over 40 years separates our age.

Starting to get excited for Monterey 10/8. Taking both kids. My 19 yr old daughters first show! (well Dead family show anyway). My son went with me to Shoreline earlier this summer and dug it. I am so glad that they are getting to experience the love and community that only happens at these shows!

^ Thats awesome! I'm glad your children are getting to experience the joy of a show. I went to my first-and thus far only-show this past July at All Good. It was phenomenal.
