i hap 2 plants in cellmax and pots and was dumbstruck when 1 was super healthy and the other allways looked overwatered for no aparent reason.even didnt feed it for about a weekand it never perked up.

what happened with mine was the holes in the bottom of the pots wernt machined out properly when they were manufactured so was keeping a hell of alot of water in the medium.

plants r hydro drip, 1 week into 12/12 under 600w hps approx 500mm from tops( height is my biggest prob as at my limit) using ionic grow nutes 7ml per ltr but will change to flower nutes when i start feeding again, ph i keep between 5.5 and 6.2, rh i have no idea but ventilation is good, i have 2 fans on for approx 6 hours out if 12.

500mm, thats 50cm, thats ca 1.6 foot, might be a bit close already, if i understood you correctly they aren't even finished stretching yet.. they might double their size from here...

i have not link anymore to info about how far a 600WHPS should be from the tops, maybe somebody else would like to comment.

In any case, space (heigth) is gonna cause you lotsa dramas if you don't fix it.

sorry guys, should have mentioned that i have babies at dif stages in flower room and sick ones r jacked up to same height as plant that has been 12/12 for 6 weeks so i have approx 12"/300mm still to play with, 1 out of the 2 sick plants has picked up a little, they r White Widow and northern light, not 100% which is which as i didnt label them, DOH thats me being a smart arse thinking i wouldnt forget which was which, ( must have forgot that i smoke the shit, but cant rememer if i forgot or not lol) im going to take sickest and repot as it is in a net basket so may be root bound but will let u guys know of any improvment/decline with pics later today, want to say i appriciate u guys taking the time to help me out on this matter, didnt even know sites like this existed until a cpl of days ago,

i might be way off here, but this one plant of yours...

i had a very similar looking plant once, it was too close to the bulb, and the water temps (DWC) where really low.

How are your res temps and ambient temps?

rootbound is not a hydro problem

aye mace it is one of mine, water temp is 20c ambient am not sure of, but certainly not excessive as plants in insulated tent in loft which is opened when light on, i think cold would be more of a prob, this has only started since switched to hps on 12/12, when in veg under a floro plant was amazing was going to keep as mother as it was so bushy and healthy which i thot was due to net basket it is in, today i have dropped it approx 300mm further from light, am just going to check and see how it is doing now, will keep u informed.

hi all, looks like i may have found prob, net basket was restricting roots, so i cut away as much of it as i could try ing to keep root damage to a min, had to leave 1/3 still attached to roots and re potted and seems to be picking up, check out pics and let me know what you think
