some chick (Sabrina Gordon) was @ a county fair (San Bernardino) hesitated, reached out for the scaffolding but couldn't stop herself, a worker tried to grab her but couldn't and she tumbled down missing the inflatable bag 36 feet below. died @ the local hospital.
it was the premiere of a new free fall ride FreeDropUSA, no bungees, no wires or guides, just air between jumper and inflated bag. I think this is why they pay stuntmen big bucks for shit like this.

that's not the ride above, the county fair ride had 3 jump platforms. I think that guy above is a pro or very well practiced. and hell yes, that was way higher than 36 feet.
oddly enough, the bag he falls into is marked/branded US, so it may be the same thrill ride company.
