I live in farm country. Having purple, blue, pink or rainbow colored hair is a sign of mental illness. Same thing when comes to putting spikes in your face or metal washers in your ear lobe.
When I go to the city I have noticed they put their spiked face rainbow head crazies in local government jobs.
Imo that's the modern western world for you.
