I can relate to that. During the "BIC" days it was common practice. I used to buy the pink ones. After that trick, I used to have to throw them out. Funny how that worked

Most men wouldn't be caught dead with a pink lighter!..and yes, I own a couple of pink shirts All I know is as stated, from my bics being stolen, to having to throw them was proof in the pudding. 
Be careful what you wish for...
For a lot of us old tokers, we'd need a washing machine sized carton to put them all in....
