I said the same thing when I watched that.

True story, years ago a plumber guy I know of was helping a sewer worker gain access to a sewer out front of a business to complete some work on site. It was a bitter cold winter morning ,the manhole cover was frozen in place. There was an aceylene torch on a cart available nearby so they lit it up and left it pointed at the cover to heat up as they sipped hot coffee inside the work van. Unbeknownst to them the wind blew the torch out earlier. When they arrived back after their coffee break and noticed the flame went out and before they realized the gravity of the situation, one of them pulled out the striker to relight the torch. In their haste they failed to observe the sewer was now filled with acetylene gas, which is heavier than air. The manhole cover flew off so fast catching said plumber mid forehead and took off the top of his head in front of a shaken sewer worker left with PTSD.

I'll never forget the learn I learned from that episode.
