This is so true.
My second wife of a mere 13 months was such a bitch and was standing in front of my house's front door bitching at me after I had been on the road for a week. I was so fed up, I pointed my finger at her and said the famous line verbatim "Don't let it hit you in the ass on the way out" And I never dropped my hand or said another word. I just buirned a hole through her
She grabbed her purse and left. 2 weeks later she called and asked "How come you haven't called?" I said "Frankly Marie, I haven't missed you!".
10 years later I ran into a couple we knew us at the time. They told me she worked near by. I decided to drop by. She was doing nails in the back of a hair salon. She had 3 women waiting with her eyes focused on a woman's hands at her station. As I walked up I said "Still beautiful after all these years' It took her a minute... she then jumped up and gave me a big hug. she turned to her customers and said (I kid you not) 'I loved this man like no other'.
I was stunned, and felt very sorry for her second X, with whom she had 3 kids.
