I have a video of one of these wasps dragging the same spider over 30m back to its hole. I can't upload it because the file is to big!
Once the wasp bites the spider it won't let go. If your game enough you can pick them both up without getting bitten.
They are actually a fairly placid species of wasp and live solitary.

Its a beautiful country but a great place to learn the fuck around and find out rule

I plan to move there one day
and lounge around fraser island and watch tourists ignore the no swimming signs 😀

It's called K'gari Island now. Token name change for the Aboriginals. 🤣
Mate Australian wildlife is nothing compared to Bears and Mt Lions. We got heaps of shit that will sting ya and bite ya but at least we aren't guna get eaten. Unless ya up north and the crocks get ya or ya in the ocean and a shark gets ya.
Mate of me brother inlaw had half his thigh bitten off by a junior Great white at our local beach.
I just moved a red back spider from under me outside furniture into me neighbours backyard. 🤣 I should of taken a pic. I'll get one next time they everywhere here.
Often have red belly black snakes in me backyard. They good they keep the more dangerous ones like tigers and browns away.
