I assume this is the same for milk and especially soda which is pretty acidic…
Personally I think plastic pollution is a far bigger problem for the planet than climate change!!
Was reading an article that reckons every living animal on earth has micro plastics in their blood stream!!

I am with you on that. For a while, toothpaste manufacturers were using micro balls of plastic as an abrasive but quietly transitioned back to other abrasives like baking soda when water treatment facilities started to find the micro balls of plastic were clogging up their filters. And the plastic vortex in the middle of the Pacific Ocean is likely an ecological disaster that will have significant impact on not only the food chain but also the whole equilibrium of earths climate.
