hey i got fungus nats , the adults first showed 2weeks into flower stage , killed them all after IDing them as fungus nats , added 4" crushed oatmeal to top , packed it down , cut watering to 2oz per 1gallon , stopped top feeding to keep it dry, all that seemed to work havent seen adult fungus nat sense, on a feeding today pulled the feeder tube out and lava/maggot form of nats seem to have a 70% ratio to the soil , added 3% h202 1/2oz . plants dont show any sign of damage could it be cause the roots not young anymore , nats feeding on something else ? can the adult flys breed under ground ? atleast 30days left on flowwer mode to get a full harvest, shoud i try safer soap , or just take my chances that i can havest befor they can eat the roots, again no adults spotted so what to do thanks :badday: :dueling:

If you want to kill them Use Gnatrol nothing works better.. :) and ive delt with them hardcore style.. and ive killed them thats the only stuff I found to get rid of them

Gnatrol - You'll be golden, dont bother with anything else if you can get this stuff.

If you cant, go for the mosquito dunks sold at garden centers as ive herd those are bassicly a granulized version of gnatrol.

Is it ok to use Gnatrol in late flowering? what is this stuff? is it organic?

Yeah, it's fine to gnatrol at any point in the plant's life cycle...it's just a bacteria that destroys the larva of insect. Some crops are even being genetically engineered with BT to prevent caterpillar damage to them.

Google "Bacillus thuringiensis" for more info on it....the specific sub sp. we end up using is usually "israelensis".

Yeah on MTF's advice I got the mosquito dunks. Havn't seen any in days. The active ingredient in the dunks is the same as Gnatrol and a pack of 6 dunks was like $10 with tax at Lowes.
