Fundraiser seeds : Manitoba medicine f2

I guess I'll be testing them for indoors for now unless the government decides to decriminalize some day though I expect to fight an armed revolution before then.

Did/has anyone grown these indoors yet?
would 12/12/from seed work to keep them low? I have a small space and 2X2 T5 lights
really not worried about weight I'm a lite smoker.

peace

never ran them indoors

haxi , a member here did run them indoors but i never heard back from him so i have no clue what his experience was.

anyhow manitoba medicine is very indica dominant with very little stretch.

i think yield will be very very very low if you 12/12 them from seed directly as they will go into flower very quickly

you could always lst them to keep them low

Mine are about 4 weeks in veg now. They are slow in veg but they do have a nice bit of stretch on the stem. I have topped half of them but I would probably recommend always topping indoors on these because I see no branching to any of them. Topping will also help with your headroom Grizzel. So far they look like they could be a good yielder for an indica dom.

EDIT: For me 4 weeks from sprout got me 5 nodes while veging on 17/7 light. I put the 4 with the most stretch out of 9 total into 12/12 after 2 weeks and they all are confirmed male so I have to pat myself on the back for that. The males are giving off smells on stem rubbings but I'll wait to report what they are after I have a little more time with them. I will be crossing them back to the females and also to my NLxc99 mom. I am basically hoping to add a pine smell and more potency to the high of my mom that I love the high from but the potency isn't top shelf to me. Plus it would be nice to get the old time pine back to the NL that I know has to be in there somewhere.

A couple years ago I got some seeds from Green and grew some Guerilla Gold and Manitoba Medicine indoors.

I did it to see how they grew indoors but mostly to make seeds.

They grew really leafy indoors. Smoke was decent, and indoor seed making with them worked great, but really they are bred for outdoor growing imo.

and yea I was fighting mites back then, they loved the leafiness of the Guerrilla Gold and Manitoba Medicine.

here a pic from kannibal , a polish outdoor grower

this is the rotten smelling pheno

They do look pretty leafy but honestly it doesn't look that bad for an indica. I just wrapped up a harvest of mandala safari mix that makes the plants in those pictures look like equilateral sativas. However I will be making some f2's to grow outdoors in the next couple years when I am in a situation that allows it. But what I will be growing indoors until then will be the offspring that come from being crossed to these three NLxC99.

Over the last year I grew out about 30 females of the cross and these expressions were my favorite. The one on the left has a high that is electric paranoid euphoria and top shelf potency. It smells like coffee but becomes incredibly skunky after a cure. I saw that plant pop up a couple times out of the 30. The other two are a lot alike but vary in stretch and length of branching. Basically the one in the middle is the most branchy one I have seen and the third one is the least. Most of the ones I like came out somewhere in between. They would have similar effects that are about a 50/50 indica/sativa. They vary in potency but never better than mediocre, but they were my favorite to smoke. They can make it easier to switch your brain patterns so you can easily go into a trance while it runs it's course it is euphoric and becomes more sedating over time until your eyes become very heavy at the end.

hey thc123,

could you tell a l' bit more about the manitoba medicine f2's...
pics of the parents, at which lattitude did you grow them.
how big were them at the end? what do you think about to
x them with brads gg#3 could it be nearly mm#2?
((freeze x gg#2)x gg#2) x ((freeze x gg#2)x gg#2) x gg#3
seems they have the potential to get much bigger than the gg#3...
because the stretch is much stronger in flower;)
also it could be interesting to cross them with bigger autoflower
plants like Mi5 or Onyx for OD. i found out that mostly the semi-autoflower part
comes stronger through if you cross semis with autoflower.
i'm also interested what would happen if someone would cross them with
these autofl.hazez

peace out

Hey THC123,

And where is this fundraiser? Do you know where to geht them?
Would be so nice to get some informations :)

bless!

Yes very bad indoors, too many problems and tiny yield.

you mean with directly 12/12? what problems? i am interested in hearing them as i never ran it indoors

@ hazeo

they are up on seedbay and normally hybridsfromhell should have them soon also

@ tonne : ill get back to you

im way too sober right now to type a long reply

I veged them for 6 weeks and topped them once in veg. They looked like plants that had veged half that time if not less. They never really got that big and I took them down after 60 days in 12/12 because I couldn't take looking at all the nanners on all of them and worrying that they might not be sterile. They probably should of gone about 3 weeks more. One was intersexed soon after going into flower with female pistils coming from a plant that was already sprouting it's typical pollen sacs, but the females starting throwing nanners about a month in. There is alot of stretch on the stem and leaf stem which I suppose outdoors would be a benefit. If somebody saw my grow room they would of thought this was my first time growing because of the stretchy tiny budded plants but I have been growing for 5 years with the same set up. I am positive these would do well outside though.

i too have grown out manitoba meds outdoors on several occasions, the light sensitive strains rarely do well under 12/12 indoor lighting.but the manitoba meds is an exceptional early outdoor strain

sorry to hear that

yeah indeed outdoors they make BIG round compact nugs and yield very well but they are slow veggers

Never had nanners outdoors

Still in the future i wanna do more selections and maybe even some indoor to see if we can get rid of the nanners indoors by throrough selection

i have to say that the mm do well (much more than pure gg) if you can handle the temperature down to <22°C at daytime and <19°C at nightime and put the lights first 14 hours and then the last 6 weeks 13 hours-no herms at all!. the gg/freeze gens who are accustomed to the humid rough outdoor climate of canada need different support in comparison to this long acclimatized indoor strains someone would normally use for that mission. they are very mold-resistant despite their -sometimes- quite dense structure. but hey thc123 hope you can tell a bit more now - would be interesting to create an approximate scheme about harvest date and lattitude and about the behavior in crossings. ah and they can reach easily 1,20m ++ if vegged ~ 6 weeks;)<--

The MM has an intoxicating aroma. I am hoping it passes on in the cross I made and that I find one of the offspring that is a little more suited to growing indoors. I am saving the incross seeds for the day I can grow outoors. I bet the MM would do well in Washington and Oregon though.

good to hear

about the lattitude scheme, i am sending them worldwide and expect more results from growers worldwide

about the behavior in crossings.

it makes any strain you cross it with about a month earlier

but it is pretty dominant in crosses, so you need to find the right dad
