Completely depends on end usage?

Medicinal edibles, full plant every time. Vaping, I prefer premium flowers only. I don't know anyone who wants to vape full plant extract.

For medical purposes, we removed the fan leaves and stems, but extracted the rest guts, feathers, and all.


For bragging rights dabs, I use prime bud and a short extraction, finishing off with a second extraction for the balance.


For day to day dabbing, I use what I got.............

I like to extract whole flowers (buck fan leaves, pull from stems, keep everything with decent trichome coverage). No trimming for my extracts. Gonna separate all the trichomes anyway.
