don't briefcases work well in this type situation?

I would holler at the taxi guy to pop the trunk, throw in my case and hop in the back.

Then I would say pop the trunk when I exited.

Then no one gets a smell.

of course I am talking about people like Krunchie who are legal users.

You are absolutely right about the briefcase. If you carry a locked briefcase, even in your own car, the police cannot go in there without a warrant. Briefcase or suitcase, either one, if it's locked they need a warrant to look in there. So, if you have vacuum sealed bags in a locked briefcase, the police have no probable cause to go in there.

Why do all that if he is legal?

Because being legal doesn't protect you against arrest frequently. Also everyone's goal in this game should be to minimize the amount of contact you have with cops. They can bring no good for us and many of them think its their life mission/divine destiny to stop the scourge (pot growers).

Although I rarely transport lbs, I always mason jar/vac seal depending on the amount. It's definitely worth it.

its a grey area...while its legal under state law the feds dont like it. under fed law 500 clones is a big deal...the numbers also strech state law unless he has a nice number of patients under his co-op. i think the law in alameda is 3 patients per caregiver (correct if wrong)...so you can carry two pounds on you legally (half P each customer plus the caregiver himself)

one of my homies always brings his girlfriend and cousin along with their cards when hes driving with packs. he can carry up to 1.5 LBs legally under state law when he has the people with him.

Krunch-

Sry to hear about the legal issues...You have helped alot of people around here with your imagination and knowledge...

Hopefully pulling down the mpb will get you some $$$ for counsel...

And thank you for keeping us posted...I think people can learn alot from your experience...

Them not taking the computer is good news...Sounds like they might not be to interested in you...

I use a pelican case to transport....With this info I will put a lock on it....But then again the pelican is in my trunk and to get in there they would need a warrant...

My thoughts are with you ....

They don't have to take the computer most likely they just hooked up to it and copied everything with their info stripper program that goes right through any password protected account screens and such. They don't take the computer there is no need. I would be worried about using that same computer because it may be compromised security wise.

Not really much to offer besides my best wishes.

Like DTFSUX said you're lucky to have a friend that would step up for you, but I'm sure you know that already. Thanks for all the info and tips you've shared. It takes lots of courage to run ops of this size, let alone post pics about them. Like subrob said I forgot it takes balls to do this.

Just got pulled for a taillight the other day. It kept flicking on and off. The tip on the leds sounds good, but if the wires are bad it won't help.

Hopefully they'll drop before you have to pay the lawyer too much. Rez is right, this cali life ain't all it's cracked up to be. They'll take your money. They want to tax it. Push comes to shove you're on your own. Sounds like you might as well join a street gang.

Well the records of emails would be on the yahoo servers for awhile from what I understand they keep the records for quite awhile in case info is needed to fight terrorism which makes sense to me even if I don't agree with violating our privacy.

My reference to them hooking up to his computer and copying everything is more related to what is stored actively on his hard drive like pictures and files not what is already gone that takes more work to uncover but can be done unless it's written over at least a few times.

The general rule I live by is that if you are reading it or looking at it online or it's in your inbox then someone else is able to see it as well and this is true 99% of the time unfortunately in todays world.

If you are a big fish then maybe be worried, very small fry and I would not sweat it much.

In all seriousness, this thread is approaching 10k views.... Do you really think none were by anyone in the bay area law enforcement? Just some thoughts bro... Stay safe.

Transport in a vacume sealed bag, You can put that inside a turkey oven bag. The molecular structure is tight on that stuff. Never use ziplocks.
Never grow over 100 plants anywhere

This place needs a bouncer

what this place needs is an undercover investigative unit to go out and seek out the snitches, bitches, and LEO's... (damn thats a good idea.. think about it ADMIN!)

Krunch my man...... sorry to hear about this shit. happens to everyone though..

the charges will be dropped. if not by the DA, then by the judge. you will get your bail money back in a couple months, by which time you should be pulling down your next harvest.

dont fork over $$$$ to a lawyer, sounds like you got some Bullshit charges, shouldn't be hard to beat in court even with a public defencer.

basically what we have here is a case of the police taking the law into their own hands... that's a no-no, and you will not have to suffer long i promise.

Such sad, distant and totally erroneous advice.
