No, I absolutely understood "your unique style". I see what you're attempting to do, but I am sure you are not doing it the "right way". I have grown exactly like you, yet not like you.

You are very sensitive. Without becoming too stressed, would you point out when (if ever) you plan on reducing the nutes? Maybe a new thread years down the line? I shudder to think how that bud tastes. Did you give a description of it or is it hashed?

Another thing I missed reading 85% of this thread: what is your mission statement? You aren't seeing proper expression inducing this type of stress. If you knew that, why bother talking about plant structure and other traits? Why bother talking at all? Just because?

When I started growing and posting on Overgrow, my pics looked like crap compared to everyone else's, but the product was better than I or any of my friends could get their hands on, and like you said a ways back, you're saving a lot of money.

My stuff still looks like crap compared to the experienced growers, but it's gotten better because I've asked and taken advice and learned.....

you're fucking good. my pics aren't even that good, the focus is usually off since it's autofocus, i only have a 10MP camera and i can't use flash with my macros. i dunno how you do it. - plants are susceptible to stress which causes them to go HERMIE
- i stress my plants all the time
- i weed out the hermies

- i don't grow to make money i grow to smoke good weed i don't need a huge setup. i have everything i need for the purposes of my experiment. a veg box and a flower box.

i started micro and i like it so i stuck with it.
- cab is 18 inches square. for you stupid guys less than 2 feet wide. stick out one of your arms, if you're 5 foot or taller, the width of my box is less than half the length of your arm.
- my cab is 3 feet tall or about the height of your mom on her knees if you need a visual.
- 100watt light ONE HUNDRED not one thousand, not six hundred, not four hundred, not two fifty, not even one fifty. ONE HUNDRED.
- stop comparing the size of my buds with yours they're not gonna get really big under 100watts.
- i don't expect them to, that would be something a moron would expect.
my pots are small to keep my plants short since i'm growing micro.
1 quart mostly. cut off soda bottles, juice containers etc. whatever i find fits best in 18x18 inches squared.


been doing this a long time. learned a lot.
- marijuana contrary to popular belief grows well in hot temperatures. in fact they actually grow fastest when the temps are closer to 90 than 80 as is commonly believed.
- some plants like being wet, some like being dry
- some prefer heat like sativa's, and some prefer a little cooler hybrids and indicas
- none like being cold under 78degrees for prolonged periods.
- small pots dry faster
- small pots can suffer radical pH swings like hydro
- ONCE DAMAGE OCCURS TO A LEAF IT IS IRREVERSIBLE
( this seems to be the biggest issue a lot of you morons don't get, once a leaf starts to be effected by something it doesn't UNDO.)
- leaves are how plants communicate.
- wanna know why i leave all my bad leaves on the plant instead of trimming off every slightly discolored leaf in favor of showing some ****s on the internet a "pretty" looking plant?

because those are messages from the plant. it's like having gauges in a car. would you cover the fucking instrument panel simply because you don't like glowing lights? no, thats fucking stupid. so is chopping off leaves the second that start looking ugly.

this plant has had all these leaves since roughly the beginning of flower and they started to pale around week 4. know why they haven't fallen off yet?

laugh at this one. 100 watts, 90+degrees temps 1quart of soil (cutoff 2 liter in this case to maybe 1.5 quarts of soil) 2feet from soil, practically all buds. and while you're busy talking shit, those yellow leaves which are falling off now since i don't force feed my plants to keep them a healthy shade of blueblack green mean my shit's gonna be smooth without a cure. fresh dry, and ready to smoke. that comes from learning the plants behaviour not from following recipe and doing thing people tell me i SHOULD be doing.

if i did what everyone told me to do instead of my own thing, i'd prolly be trying to grow 1000 plants in a warehouse, pouring cherry coke into my res to add flavors, girdling the stems to increase the trichomes, adding some sort of bud boosters, all while hoping i don't suffocate to death on my co2 burner.

you guys are here for one of 2 reasons either to watch or to learn. you most certainly are not here to give me advice and suggestions i said that on page one. when i need advice i ask for it. unsolicited advice primarily gets ignored. i'm still alive, unmolested, un assraped, and unimprisoned so i must be doing something right all these years of my life.

by all means appleman. what "PROPER" expressions are you talking about? please tell me. i have run this same plant 2 times in 2 different media and 2 different sized pots, from seed and from clone. if grows exactly the same way every time. little sticky frosty haze buds that smells like strawberries and creamsicles. what am i missing? is it gonna transform into a car? is that what i'm missing out on?

anyway back to what i was doing...

WBK#1 clone i don't know how many days it's been off the top of my head but i think it's almost or around 9 - 10 weeks now. gonna chop these in roughly 2 weeks from now. might be a little sooner. everything is coming down in 2 weeks ready or not.

been sampling the mom for the past week or two (that picture in the last post ^^^). jar is almost empty, didn't get the smell out like i wanted, this southern humidity keeps the bud moist longer. gotta put a fan in the room next time. smells really stenchy when you pop the jar like raw sewage. fades to a lemony scent afterwards. not very strong.

speaking of scents, i tried some of that NL i chopped and had in a jar for the past month almost. smells just like trainwreck. turned frrom old medicine cabinet/pill bottles to menthol and some sort of wierdness.

strawdaze| gettin pretty nice towards the end. all the flowering plants have been getting only plain water and molasses for the past 2 weeks and some days.
gave em all a dose of magnesium beforehand. seems to be helping them use up the remaining nitrogen. really impressed by this cut this time around. dunno if it was the change in container or the nutes going from organic to all chem. but the buds filled out more this time around and beyond that got a lot more solid. they were fairly solid last time but didn't fill in enough to make up for all the leaf. still just as leafy but it's filling in more and shouldn't be as fluffy as before.

I have since chopped everything down. Currently on week 2 in jars of wbk and the strawberry mutant. WBK is still not really there smellwise in the jar, when you burn it it smells like the open sewer. really disgusting. The strawberry needs nothing to pop. as soon as it's dry its strawberries and cream candy, like the cremesavers candy. strawberry flavored cream savers. smells, smokes, tastes like strawberries. the high is the same, starts off really hazey and in the head, eventually wears you out. me about 4 hours of smoking this and i'm comatose for the rest of the day.

the second Daze on left, the BHz#3 i chopped the day before, suffered too much and started to reveg then it hermied on me. too much stress, or rather too weak for me to keep. it was very hardy though, i abused the shit out of it. took 2 reveg, a drought overwatering, root rot, and light leaks before it finally hermied.

i'll still smoke it when it's dry. i'm anticipating headaches, but we will see.

It's no mutant but i think it still turned out pretty good.

Ok well looks like i might have a reprieve. I think i'll be here another couple months so i popped 5 seeds. they don't look like they're viable so i'll hold off on any announcements for now.

dropped in my NL a couple weeks ago, plan was to dust it with pollens and make some seeds before dumping it. it grows nice and has a crazy smell, but it's not doing anything for me high wise.

DEEZ/DAZE respectively.
decided to drop my straws back in there one last time before i pass them on to my friends.

also got my WBK#2 in there, still debating whether or not to save it instead of the #1. undeniably gets more yield than the #1 but i dunno. anyway i thought i would be chopping it down today so i haven't been feeding it for like 3 weeks. too late to start feeding it again, so i'm just flushing it the rest of the way. gonna chop it when it dries in about a week.

had a funny incident on the way back from miami, started with smoking a blunt of daze, ended with me tossing out a whole jar of weed cuz i thought we were approaching a police checkpoint. stupid fuckin construction sites...

anyway i can't believe it's been like 3 weeks already. fall is coming on, temps are dropping...i lost like 12 cuttings and 16 seeds to damping off oh well. still got moms and siblings to the lost seeds. all is not lost.

LNL don't ask me how many weeks or days, gotta be somewhere round 4-5-6? anyway i dusted it with some pollens, not growing paper leaves lol. I dusted it with my mystery meat male, you can scroll back a few pages for pics. A GDL male, and some pollen from 2007 i'm hoping is still viable. i see some turned pistils and some swelling so i think at least some of the pollens worked. gonna need like 30+days from this point before i can take them down regardless.

Deez recovering from all the salt buildup finally. i figured since they're gonna need a lot of food in the beginning anyway just use plain water and whatever was in the soil already before i start feedings. I fed once initially to kick things into flower. but the entire last 3 weeks i've just been feeding water+molasses. when i noticed they needed more mag i gave epsom. that aside i gave a mild feeding today with some dyna gro i bought a year or so ago for my friend, it was cheap. ran across the bottle and thought to try "bloom booster" for the first time and see if it makes any difference over last time. fed at recomended dose on bottle for indoor. 1/2tsp per gal. ppm came to 320, comes out of the tap at 230 anyway so i don't think this will kill my plants.

budshot...can't remember if deez or daze. most likely deez.

lastly Daze. Doesn't take to all the salt as well as the other plants. I checked pH today for first time in like a months or 2. runoff and run in are about the same. goes in about 6.6 comes out about 6.5-6.3. slurry test ...aka i watered my plant good till runoff, let it stop dripping set it in a plate and flooded it again with an inch of water. let soak 30 minutes, collected for measurement.

it went in at 320 came out at 4200+ lol. that's not an accurate measure of whats in there, i actually have a little bit of salt caked around the drainholes sometimes. as long as the plants don't sit in this runoff it's fine. but i had no idea they were sitting in such rich water. explains the random nute burns.

Daze : a little light bondage to open up the branches to the light. i also gave the straws both haircuts since last week.

LNL : Don't think any of those branches are making seeds. i dusted em too late. i shoulda looked at the time.

Pollinated lowest branch of Deez with some Grapefruit DLite. Hope it takes.

Like 3-4 weeks ago i started popping seeds. couple a week. they kept sprouting and then dying off. eventually i got a couple to survive. dunno whats goin on cept it's a little colder overnight now. down to 70' high 60's

This is an Atlantic Diesel (ECSDxAtlantic Storm). It's got some sort of polyploidy going on, i really didn't think it would make it. it's 3 weeks about in this pic. a week before it was 2 little nubs down at the bottom. thought i had another runt on my hands. It came out of the shell as twins. one side stalled while the other side barely progressed. they're coming along better now. with one twin being a runt.

This is one of my Sasha F3's, i popped 7 seeds in this tray. after 2 weeks of not giving up i finally see this yesterday. yay!!@! and this morning his buddy next door popped out. w00t!@!!

I took the tops on the NL to give the rest of the plant more food/ less work. the leaves were still getting yellow dramatically fast despite me adding more food. I still don't see any seeds, i think i'll have to reveg this again and try again. like no sign of any seeds. i think i should have started feeding more after i pollinated. silly rookie mistake lol.

Daze coming along. gonna start dialing back the nitrogen. i think this is 5 weeks now? something like that.
