Everyone was a head. Homegrown everywhere, the locals were very cool but QUITE paranoid at first. The way people would look at me, like I was going to smoke crack out of a baby's head while driving drunk mowing down Nuns.
BUT that's just their way.


Now as I'm sure you know, people born in NYC don't consider the rest of the state as being a part of New York. They think of upstate as a kind of half wit mutated cousin.

Realitive smoke out = a beacon of guilt with the smell of slips's blunts and people falling of with paranoia highs while the cops drove around lol. But i was a good 50% discrite.

LOL,I live in the area,and believe me they are not afraid of the hydro farm cali boy!!Maybe just a healthy fear of outsiders for security reasons or the disgust brought on by the I'm a cali hydro boy and you rednecks cant handle it?who knows,one thing for sure is theres plenty of grows in the houses in the hills you see,and as far as the id thng,I dont buy it.3 fuckin pic id's and no go,something fishy there.never had to use more than 1 any were in the country,valid id is just that,valid.anyway,welcome....enjoy your stay

Yeah Ny is very very strict on alcohol sales... say you look of age and they ID you.. well if the person at the sales counter saw that you got out of a car with other people in it... They CAn and will ask for ID of everyone in the car.. and unless your a parent taking your son home from soccer your getting denied.

I was up there a month ago.. and they weren't letting me IN a couple bars because my ID was questionable???

Yeh,i just think they were p noid seeing someone wearing that shirt because anyone that grows around there wouldnt do that.Ive never been to a place like that in UpS NY.But yeh,no one wants to know anyone that they already dont if there growers.Every state has an Upstate where its more Country but im glad that in all my years in NY ive never ran into these types.Heads up there are just more mellow,i know when anyone moves UpState from NYC they are thought to be drug dealers that just came there to sell there drugs for a higher price,hmmm,stereotypes are funny.

ithaca is definitely beautiful and its basically a community of intelligent (for the most part) stoners and hippies down there. Lots of great chill people. As far as visiting it if you're near letchworth.......they're about 2.5-3 hours apart and the drive across on 86 isn't exactly exciting.
