From seed to bud in 55 days

3rd option would be to use clones next time that are from a mother plant (or left the seed at least) 30 days old or more. That way they will be sexually mature already and you could do 10 days to root then 45 days to flower on a quick flowerer. Although that technically wouldn't be seed to harvest, but it would be start to finish.

how long do you think they will veg before they allow themselves to flower?? 40-45 (atmost IMO) never sounds like a long enough flower to me..

didnt even know there was a 2nd page

Good morning class...

ok everyone sit down and take out your rollin papers, bud crushers and baggies..

Class is in session...

There are alot of myths out there that plants take 1-3 months to reach sexual maturity. This is False information passed around by people. When a seed germs it takes 10 days for it to reach sexual maturity, how do i know this you ask... i have been doing it this way for 5 years now and my girls show white hairs in 3-4 days after the 12/12 switch... At finish my girls will only be 70days old from germ(birth), dont knock it before you try it...

Bottom line: with his technique i pull atleast 2 more harvests a year...

I also germ my seeds in 12/12 but ounce they come up they go to 22hr light in another room for 10 days, then they get flowerd...

OK...time for recess, in our next hour we wil talk about clones vs. seedlings

Hmm, hey doc, I have to disagree. I've been doing this 5 years too, and watching someone else for serveral before that, you may have a super strain, I am not saying that your not being honest about what you grow, but I've never found a seedling that was ready after 10 days of veg, never, and infact I rely on it as I only run one chamber, if 10 days were accurate, the babies in my box would now be flowering, as it is I've got around another 3 weeks before they will floewr, regardless of light patterns. Trust me, I have the most eratic light patterns anyone grows with, yesterday my plants had 10.5 hours of light and 13 hours of dark. Youngens still veggin, oldens still flowerin.

hey GMT, i am not saying that i have been growing for 5 years, i have been using this method for 5 years and trust me it works... i have over 15years of growing experience... Most people are going to have a big problem with me stateing these kinda things, but it will bring out some interesting discussions... for my proof i have a plant to show you...This is BubbleDust flowerd at 11 days of age...now 52 days into flowering

Soorry doc that aint proof, I've got pics of plants too, I could say they were vegged for 3 hours but it wouldnt be right. Do a thread for me and the other doubters, oh no hang on we've got one with tic, my bet is in 6 days his plants will not be flowering. If I'm wrong I'll appologise, but I have tried this type of thing myself, unless its a clone, I wanna see it before I believe it. I am right up for blowing the myths out of the water, but this myth I believe to be real from experience.

By flowering, I take it you dont just mean dropping the light to 12/12. you do actually mean growing buds dont you?

I fully understand that you are very sceptical towards this idea....If you read my thread and look at dates you will see that i am not messing around... http://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=10510

I am not saying that this works in all situations or for every grower, this is a combination of cause and effect that makes it possible for me to do this... Optimal conditions are also a key factor...

I count flowering from the time i put them into the flowering room...

spray with plain water as many times a day as you can, if they start to get a bit light green then add a drop of grow ferts to the spray, and always change the water each time you spray, dont be afraid to use cool water...

Listen Doc, I dont want you to think that I am having a go at you. I just like things to be accurate, a little compulsive about accuracy actually, so sorry but I have some comments. I just went through your thread checking dates. Here we go.
5th March was day 1, was this when the seeds were taken out of the packet or when they popped their heads through the soil?
on the 30th march your females were done sexing, thats at least 25 days right there.
4 days later you state that they are on day 10 of flower, so I take your point that flowering for you is when they go into the flowering room. I take flowering to be once sex is shown so thats just a terminology difference between us.
On the 10th of April you claim 17 days, fair enough it is 7 days later, but then 4 days after that you claim 21 days?
On 22nd April batch 2 is finished sexing, thats 24 days to sex from seed.
On the 4th of May, you say that you plan to take them 1 week early and on the 11th say you will take them in 6 days. That makes a typical run of 80 days from seed to harvest.
Bog advertises seeds that are done in 6 weeks of flower, I have ones done in 7, and the average is 8 and your certainly not determining sex of a seed within 10 days of taking it from the packet.
Like I said mate You know what your doing alright, its just that you talk about clones and 10 day rooting times on the 12/5/5 in your thread, but thats not from seed, technically.

Now I am really confused. I mean, I would like to make this trough since I allready started it and I see how it goes, but ... oh...

I need a push,... foward or backward :chin:

emagine: one more thing. how much do YOU harvest when you let them veg for some time? I think that would be useful info for me at this point.
