From seed to bud in 55 days

Hello

This is my new project that I am doing. I am trying to get buds in 55days with 0 vegging days.

Here are some pictures from my setup;












Today is day 1 and if time allows, I am going to post new pics every 3 days. Now only 3 plants are up, few days older but the seeds are allready in there, waiting to get out.

I use 400w HPS and the measurments of the pot are 50cm x 80cm x 20cm. I will use only flowering nutes (less N tirggers faster flowering). And I am going to use PK 13-14 from canna in 3rd week. Let's see what happends.

Information:
Tic is useing a soil box with no drainage and lots of aireation, plants are waterd from the top. This is going to b a tight run, so lets see what happens...

Saw a couple threads that did 0 veg time over on OG, not sure how fast they got bud, but I think you're def in the ballpark with 55 days. Only drawback I saw was less yeild, but they claimed the potency was not affected.

Question tho, why no drainage?

Well, I have no space for drain pot. Well I tough I didnt have space, but now things look different. I figured that my air pump trick doesnt work. That is bad, pretty bad. I dont know what to do now...

How bad it really is with no airpum and no drainage? Ofcourse I have hydroton or whatever you call it at the bottom. About 2cm...

You can shut off the air pump, it is an extra toy...(you may use it in times when you think you might have over waterd, to help dry out the soil faster)...

The Expanded clay or hydro korrels on the bottom are fine and will protect the roots as long as they dont sit in constant water...

My first ever grow was like this, around 30 plants bagseed in a small tub under a 120w light, most of the plants were male and I was left with 7 plants that did yield me enough bud and the rest is history...I have room for a grow like this just for kicks now that we have a house...

Growdoc: Yeah growdoc. That is an extra toy that it doest work. I can hardl blow in the tube myself... damn. Lesson learned for next time. I am going to be careful so I dont overwater. Every day small amounts will do.

Let's say we have a place for 50 big plants. In this area, we can put let's say 200 small plants. Time period is one year.

50 plants X 30 grams x 4 harvests = 6000 grams
200 plants x 10 grams x 6 (accualy 6.5) = 12000 grams

I think I get more this way in long term

Day 2: Seeds still havent showed. This is taking so long and days are allready counting




I tried to remove top layer of the soil very gently so I could find some seeds and see what is going on and I didnt find single one of them. Somebody took them away or something.... pray for the best, I need it.

In other words, I found 7 seeds in there but i damaged one. Yeah, I have fingers like elephant. Half of the white root felt off. Now, should I change that seedling od leave it? Do I expect it to survive?

The seed will not survive, better to put good energy in the seeds that are comming...

Tomorrow I will get BioSuperMix from Plagron and I am going to remix my soil after few days.

O.k. I have several questions.
1. Are you planning on repotting them at all?
2. What is the standard lowering time on your plants.
3. What flavour are they, ie. what breed?
4. Other than N depravation, how do you plan to induce maturity on these plants within say the next 10 days or so?

1. I will take them out after 10 days to mix better soil but they are going back to the same bucket.

2. With "lowering", you mean flowering? Well, it depends much. I am counting od Angel Dust since it is a little older and Mummia that suposed to be really fast. Just ask Growdoc.

3. 3x Angel Dust, 3x Bubble Dust [brain damage] ( ADxBubblegum ), 7x Mummia, 1x Power Plant femimized, 1x Power Plant x Orange Bud x Passion no1 feminized and 3x something that should be Black Hector from a friend, but he just told me few days ago, he gave me wrong seeds. But this should be something sweet and maybe feminized. We will se what we will get.

4. No other in plan curently, but I am looking for something.

I am not saying I am going to chop them after 55 goes by for sure. I am going to try to reach that goal and as far as I have read, it is possible. If they wont be ready, I will let them couple of days more

Growdoc reports 10-15 grams per plant. Ok sure, he is experienced, but I think i could get 8 :smile:
